I’m not sure if I’ve ever had better steamed dumplings! we also got the steak, which was cooked perfectly, med rare as requested. The Vegas were delish and so was the rice. Also, their yum yum sauce is not too sweet, and very flavorful. I’m very picky, this food is really good. I can’t wait to try their sushi

We randomely stopped in one day and gave it a try… it was so good we came back the next day! It tastes exactly like the much more expensive, fancy hibachi restaurants but without the production and the frills. So if you are craving that juicy steak, grilled zucchini, yummy rice and white sauce— at half the price— you will not be disappointed. We get the Hibachi Steak combo which comes with 2 big scoops of rice, zucchini as well as a California roll and soda. I would take one star away for the lack of ambiance/environment… it looks a bit run down on the inside… but the food is too good, they deserve 5. It’s always hot and steaming every time. Such a good find!

We went because we had a coupon for a free entree with purchase of an entree and two drinks. We hesitated after reading several reviews, but decided to try it and decide for ourselves. I ordered hibachi steak and shrimp. My husband ordered shrimp and teriyaki chicken. Both came with “fried rice” and grilled zucchini and onions. With the exception of the rice, which was more like sticky white rice with soy sauce instead of real fried rice, everything else was tasty. The steak was tender and better than other restaurants where I paid more. Overall, it’s tasty food at a great price (even without the coupon).

This review is based solely on the service and not quality of food. I called in my order for delivery to find out they don’t deliver. That’s fine. I go ahead and place an order for pickup. To which they tell me it will be 15-20 minutes. I go to pickup my order in 20 minutes to find that it is not ready. I wait for an additional 20 minutes for them to FINALLY get my order prepared and handed to me. No apology, no time frame for when my order would be ready. Everything in the restaurant feels cheap to me. I don’t plan on going back to this establishment anytime soon.

The food was good. Service was a whole nother story. Went to get tea (can’t drink carbonated drinks) and just plain water came out. Told the gentleman at the counter and he came over to change something out. Next thing I see an out of order sign on the tea container and the gentleman has disappeared. Didn’t even bother to say anything to me about it. Very poor customer service. Fortunately they had lemonade that wasn’t carbonated on the drink dispenser. I don’t recommend this place for a quick lunch unless you order ahead. Still up in the air about if I will return or not.

This restaurant is really hit and miss. The last time I ordered teryaki chicken and steak, I got a container with rice, chicken, steak and mixed veggies….but no teriyaki sauce. Good thing I’m a caterer and had all the ingredients to make my own. I ordered today and requested the same meal. Made sure I stressed the teriyaki sauce. When meal delivered there was little to no sauce and a container filled with huge pieces of cut up thighs. I order from them because in the past, they cook with chicken breast. I don’t eat dark meat. I’ve tried to give this place a chance but they keep disappointing. I’m officially done.

The food at Kobe is always outstanding. I have never been disappointed with my dinner! I would say one thing that can be improved is the customer service. I have called to place orders over the phone and been put on hold for 10 mins. They just added a service to order online though and it has been a very smooth process!
