We went to Agni for the first time for our anniversary dinner and we were absolutely blown away by the service and the food! Chef Nick and Chef JJ were very friendly and open to all the questions we had and helped me feel that extra connection to the already very personal meal. The amount of effort and passion that goes into each dish and cocktail really shows, and I left with a full stomach and heart. I’m excited to see how Agni continues to evolve and will definitely be back!

A+ experience— the “as seen on TV/in magazines” Chef Avishar doesn’t disappoint! “The story” tasting menu experience lives up to its name, weaving both twists on familiar classics and fun, exotic (to Americans) flavors into one cohesive lineup. The top-notch service made us feel catered to without smothering the evening. Looking forward to coming back! Thanks for the special gluten-free options as well!

Raising the bar in Columbus, and IMO the new standard bearer of dining experiences in Ohio. The entire staff, is dedicated to providing top notch service of course, but it goes beyond that with the vibe, atmosphere and energy. And the food. Oh my. It’s next level in originality, flavors, spices, fusion, as Chef Barua takes you along a journey with every dish, just magnificent. The drinks were also, just as high quality and delicious as the food. Agni is a must visit destination in Columbus.

One of the best dining experience I’ve ever had!!! The team was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating!! I could go on and on about how delicious the food was! I cannot rave about this place enough! From beginning to end of our meal we had smiles from ear to ear; Chef Nick and Chef JJ as well a the entire service staff made this a once and a lifetime experience for my partner and I. My new favorite place. I loved Service Bar when Avishar was chef there and we like Joyas but this was an evolution of his food. Highlights include the pani puri, the egg chat, the tikka masala spaghetti o’s (this reminded me of avishars service bar creations- so nostalgic but elevated in the best way), and the dessert (that marshmallow cream was perfect). I went with four stars because I didn’t care for the mango lassi drink (but the masala cocktail was perfection), and the duck course was missing the flavor impact the other courses had. We will definitely be going back and taking friends!
