Freddies Hamburgers Menu – Tulsa, OK

Type : Hamburger restaurant

Location : Tulsa, OK

We have been in business since 1954, and have been at varying locations across tulsa. We are not the Freddy’s food chain (we are with an I-E-S– you know drop that “Y” cuz we’re the best) We’re known for our hand cut fries we cut daily & serve old fashioned & open flame burgers! We’ve got great customers we’ve been feeding for years, & some have known Jimmy (Freddie’s son) since he was just a baby. Come over & try us out, we’ve got more than just burgers- grilled chicken salad if you’re trying to eat light or chicken fried steak sandwich if you want something a bit different. You can call it in if you’re in a hurry (for here or to go) we can have it ready in about 10 minutes for usual orders & any big orders within an hour or less!

Spike Speedwell’s review pretty much covered it all. Burger—superb, fries—perfection, malt—best ever, but my favorite thing was the attentive, friendly (with a side of sarcasm) staff. Props to the cook for making my mouth water & my tummy full to bursting.

DISCLAIMER: I’m honored to be a Top 10 Reviewer for Google. I do my best to be fair and honest but realize your experience may differ from mine. So, please keep that in mind when considering this restaurant, establishment and/or venue. REVIEW: This place reminds me of the old-fashioned counter hamburger joints with a counter and stools you can sit on, which they have, or there are a couple of tables if you rather sit there. Service was good, employees were friendly, restaurant was very clean, and the burgers and fries were delicious.

Love this diner type burger place! Love it! Driving through Tulsa totally by accident, we searched burgers and it lead us to Freddies. Such a wonderful find! Food was on point and so were all the workers. We haven’t been back in years, but if we get close enough, we will make a straight line for another great burger!

I have eaten burgers on both ends of route 66 in Oklahoma, from Waylan’s Ku Ku Burger in Miami, to the Tumbleweed Grill and Country Store in Texola and many genuine burger dives scattered in between, on the “Historic Mother Road.” For the stretch of Route 66 through Tulsa; I think Tulsa is blessed with the best…..And among them Freddie’s Hamburgers!

My wife and I stopped in for the first time today. So glad we did. The burgers are great! Super tasty and cooked perfectly. Some of the best in Tulsa for sure. The people were very friendly and the place was very clean. We will definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone there for a great meal and running such a cool place.

I tried calling in my order but their phone lines were busy. Waited 30 min and still phone line was busy so I drove up there to order my food. No big deal. I told the lady my order and waited about 15 min, again no big deal. Got my food and I was checking, I saw there was a chicken salad but I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Again no big deal. I go back and theres an older white lady on the window now, I tell her what happened and she automatically rolls her eyes at me. Yells back at the cooks to start a grilled chicken sandwich. Opens the window back up 1-2 min after and proceeds to tell me that they turned off the burners or grills (something like that) and they it would take longer than usual to make the sandwich I said no big deal I’ll wait. She gives me the sandwich 4 min after and I knew there was no way they could’ve finished making that sandwich that quick. I drove further up and inspected the sandwich to see it wasn’t even grilled, looked like they put the chicken in the microwave and heated it up that way. In some spots the chicken doesn’t even looked cooked. I’ve been here hundreds of times, even the location on 11th and Lewis before they closed and was never treated with attitude till now.

These are the best burgers in tulsa. They cook the onions in the patties and that makes a wonderful taste profile. Honestly, I can’t rate their fries because I always get the best tots in town as well! It was worth the trip and a 9.5 on the burger scale. Double deluxe with tots, you will not be disappointed!

Friendly, service oriented staff, great burgers and fries, my sister came to T town and we wanted to impress her with the hometown flare. She ( a picky eater) enjoyed the burger and fries as well as friendly staff, and that made me feel good!

Unfortunately my excitement was very quickly taken away upon biting into my Mushroom Swiss burger to find that there was no Swiss and that my fried onions were burnt to a crisp and it ruined the whole burger. They were closed by the time I sat for dinner so I couldn’t call and have it fixed :/

We use the drive-through for delicious charburgers with grilled onions and cheese. We also like their tator tots and the cheese curds. This is a straight forward, no frills, old school hamburger diner and is one of the few remaining where you can get a true fire charred burger. They also cook the standard flat grill burgers.
