This is the CUTEST little sushi place I have ever seen. The atmosphere felt upscale and carefully put together, but also vintage and quaint. They have the sweetest outdoor seating area as well with booths, and draped with Edison-style string lights. We ordered to-go and got two appetizers and three rolls and it was about $70. Definitely more food than the two of us were able to finish, but all of it was tasty. The biggest compliment I have is for the steamed dumplings with the dipping sauce. They tasted like the most authentic ones I’ve had in a long time. It feels like this restaurant really cares about their food and their service.

Very good sushi! Papaya salad could use some work and some of the sushi was too big and a bit bland. Other rolls were excellent. Nice atmosphere. Bring cash though, they charge 3.85% on card transaction. Need to put that sign by entrance not by bathroom. Bathroom was very small and NOT handicap accessible. Also, please get a better exhaust system. The burned oil from the kitchen area can be smelled from dining area. Unappetizing. A bit overpriced but no need for a long drive to get sushi. Will try again soon.

We just had lunch and it was wonderful. Prices are reasonable, sushi is fresh and service friendly. We had the Sushi Deluxe and Shrimp and Vegetable Bento Boxes. The Thai tea was delicious, just ask for a little bit of ice. I got Jasmine hot tea and extra miso soup. We left very satisfied with everything! Highly recommend.

Ok, this review is not meant to be mean, just honest. I am originally from this great area of NC and was so excited to know we have Thai food available. However, I will tell you about my recent experience. First off, I have eaten Thai food all over the World and lived overseas for almost a decade and my family and I seek out Thai restaurants wherever we travel. The overall taste of the Basil fried rice was just OK, the fried chicken with it was different. Also, there was no combo dish available like at most Thai places. The biggest disappointment was the prices, service, and portions. I ask to have extra fried rice with the meal (spicy basil fried rice with chicken but was brought out white steamed rice in a bowl. The owner then told our waitress “We don’t do that”. I was not asking for it for free, just that they add more fried rice while preparing it. Waitress became upset because when she would come to the table, she would not recognize people needed drinks when their glasses were clearly empty. Lastly, prices were as if I was in NY instead of NC and NO SPICE TRAY. The small Thai place on the back street is wonderful, hours are funny, but I felt they really appreciate your business.
