Wife and I finally tried the AYCE breakfast buffet that is served Thursday – Saturday and we were impressed. Food was very tasty with all the breakfast basics including eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, grits, biscuits, gravy and fruit. I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits that were on the bar. Eggs Benedict and pancakes were not on the bar but included in the price and available upon request. Everything tasted homemade and service was on point. For $10, can’t be beat. We will definitely be back.

It seemed as if it was geared more towards older people, and having my family of 5 (3 kiddos), we got a few stares from customers, but the food was good. The buffet didn’t have a whole lot of options, but what was there tasted great. The staff were friendly, but getting a refill on drink options was a challenge, but I believe that was due to the number of people there. Great place, great food!

My husband and I have lived in Myrtle for 8-9 years and we just discovered this little gem. Best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time! All the food is wonderful and the staff is super friendly! Not a fancy place by any means but well worth a stop if you want some good Southern cooking! We will definitely be back!

We were recommended to try out the buffet. It was a great choice we brought our children and they had so much to choose from. We were greeted with friendly staff. There was enough unused tables for us to let the bigger kids sit at one, while my husband and I sat at the table infront of them. Our server treated them with respect and refilled their drinks. The kids loved the food, they were happy to eat home cooked meal. Since we are out on vacation the meal was just what we needed. It’s gonna be a stop we will add to our trip schedule.

We visited The Southern Chicken today for the lunch buffet. The food was outstanding! I think they have some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. The sweet potato casserole and macaroni and cheese were also amazing. Truly, everything I tried was delicious. Service was friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. We can’t wait to visit again!

Delicious. The staff was super nice and everyone was wearing masks. I had the chicken sandwich and it was so good. The seasoning for the fries was good too. Their menu is small which makes it easy to choose. This restaurant is popular for locals to definitely try it out and support local businesses.

We visited on our short stay in myrtle beach. Decide to grab breakfast. It was small but packed a big punch. Shrimp and grits were delightful. Bacon was perfect. And let’s not talk about the made to order crunchy edged delicious pancakes. So good!! and the staff was also nice and had the best hospitality. Def will be back on my next stop in MB!

Deliciousness! Fresh home cooked meats and veggies. My best friend lives in Surfside and whenever I come to the beach we meet up here for lunch almost every day. It’s a buffet and for a great price! Fried chicken, pork chops, and loaded potato salad is amazing.
