Colony Grill is a decent neighborhood bar. It’s nothing to rave about and their food selection is abysmal. However, if you’re looking for a classic pub, Colony Grill will do the trick. The beer is fresh but the pizza is a bit gross and bland. Good spot to meet a friend but don’t expect anything noteworthy out of this place.

I am a pizza connoisseur, from Chicago. Despite the stigma, I enjoy a thin and crispy pizza with quality ingredients NOT Ny style. NewHaven style pizza delivers the real deal! Tasty toppings, hot oil is evenly spicy and tasty. The crust is fresh, chewy and crispy. It does not fold when a big piece is grabbed to take a delicious bite. . This is my new favorite place for pizza in NOVA. And unfortunately I live in Herndon but will have to make the trip frequently. Good Job Colony Grill! And I can’t wait to enjoy your tasty pizza again!

By far the best pizza in the DMV, this is where you go to get good New England/Bar pizza. The staff are great, the prices are good, and it’s never too crowded so you should always be able to find a seat (caveat being around New England Sports teams!). No better pizza, what are you waiting for?

Fast and Friendly service in a sports bar nook on a corner location. They nailed the atmosphere they were going for. Pizza came out fast and hot. I’ve been looking forward to coming here for awhile. New to the area and really excited about the quality of establishments like this one. It’s a traditional style so be prepared for lace on the edges of your very thin crust. I had the hot oil pizza, “well done” I like hot so I would rate this a 3 out of 10 on spice scale. Order extra stinger peppers if you want to ramp it up. Cheers.

Great atmosphere and delicious pizza. I just wish there was a few more options so I was surprised to see the menu. Overall the food is really good for the price, as well as the customer service was great. Recommend

New Haven style pizza is the only item in the menu (alongside with beer). This pizza place is fabulous and the service is always fast and efficient. Great place to meet with friends for beer and pizza. Recommendation: hot oil meatballs and mushrooms.

When we went to Colony Grill, we didn’t realize it was a pizza place…but it was definitely worth it. They had a pretty decent selections of toppings to choose from, but we went for the breakfast pizza. Tasted fantastic.

Best food in DC. Finding food in DC is a problem. Either no parking or to woke for my taste buds. Between the turkey sausage with my biscuits or the avocado toast or salmon burgers, every place we went to was disappointing and way over priced. I decided to try pizza and every place I looked at, the photos told me all I needed to know. Too fancy for my liking. Hold the gluten free inclusive crust, I just wanted good pizza. And boy did this place deliver. Not literally although that was an option. Just a few miles outside of town with parking readily available. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and like 10 bucks a pie! It’s little ceasars prices for top notch pizza! They even have Anchovies which is a staple of a solid pizza joint. The “hot oil” topping also put it over the top. El presidentay rates it an 8.4, I’d rate it a 9 or better. I ordered 5 pizzas of all different options, was the cheapest bill I saw all trip and allowed me to have a decent lunch and snacks with the left overs. 5+ stars

I discovered Colony Grill in my quest for good thin pizza. Yesterday we tried it out and I have to say that it surpassed our expectations! First, our waiter was very friendly and helpful with advice in ordering. Wine was excellent (for me Chardonay). We went with the salad pizza (on top of reg. cheese pizza) with hot oil. Note: you can get toppings on half of pizza, too. You don’t find salad pizzas often, btw. Also, we ordered a pie with mushrooms and meatballs (sprinkled with oregano). Wow! That was mine and boy, was I happy! The crust is perfectly thin, but very sturdy. The sauce was so flavorful and you could really taste the meatballs. Prices are SO reasonable for Clarendon, too. I woke up happily thinking about the leftovers.

Not sure if they intend to keep it this way, but all they offer is thin crust pizza on their menu with no options for anything else.
