The restaurant was empty when I arrived and I waited a good few minutes for someone to come out and seat me, which isn’t that big of a deal. It’s a cozy little location, with simple yet comfortable seating. The place wasn’t dirty per say, though it could use a good scrubbing however. I was very surprised at the extremely premium prices – the most I’ve ever paid for pho – so I hoped for a memorable experience. The soup looked and smelled great, and I was surprised at both the quantity of meat and the meatballs, which were of a delicious variety very rarely served in Vietnamese restaurants. Unfortunately, this was not enough to redeem the soup which was disappointingly bland. The portions left a bit to be desired as well, as the bowl was not nearly filled and the garnish vegetables were sparse. Condiments were served in very small amounts and were not provided at the table. Based on other reviews, it seems entirely likely this was just an off day for the kitchen, but for the price I don’t think I’ll try and find out for myself, unfortunately.

Lovely spot, the food is just as good as downtown Athens. They have the Vietnamese sandwiches. Plus, there is plenty of parking to pick up or sit-down

If your grandma was Vietnamese and loved you, this is the food she would feed you.

I love this place. I think it has the best pho anywhere in Athens and their prices are great, especially for the quality of the food. Plus, it’s right next door to Foxglove Plantbar so you can go look at some beautiful plants after you eat.

A good place to get phô in Athens. Was pretty busy and a little understaffed in the front of house when we went recently. Food was still good and served without too much of a wait. My biggest complaint is that the extras served with the soup were a little light. I would have preferred that they put down a larger helping of sprouts, jalapeno and cilantro.

The pho tasted all right. The price is $15 for a small bowl. Very expensive so we won’t be back.

Such a wonderful restaurant! The owners were so lovely and put so much care into their food. We loved getting to chat with them! The pho was incredible and we will definitely be back for more. Our go-to spot for Vietnamese food now!

I feel bad because this is a family business but this place is kinda bad. This is definitely better of the two pho places in athens but it’s not good. They also complain about the price of siracha when you ask for it.

I’m a regular over here whenever I swing into Athens, and when you dine in everything is fine. Food is good, the service is fast, and the staff are great. Are there any number of pho places in, say, Duluth? Yes. But they’re an hour away.

I have eaten at Just Pho for years now, and have never been disappointed with any of the food selections or with the service. The pho is superb at this restaurant, but the menu is varied. Diners can choose pho, banh mi, buns, and vegan/ vegetarian selections. Prices are reasonable and the décor and furnishings are attractive. Just Pho offers indoor dining, outdoor dining, and takeout and is closed on Mondays. Hours include lunch and supper from 11-9.
