Good people. Good food. They catered lunch for 25 of us on a construction site in Guernsey! Pulled pork, brioche buns, & potato salad were outstanding. Coleslaw and baked beans were really good. Excellent service. Family business—great to see that.

I ate there with my wife, three children and my mother in law. The staff were attentive and helpful. All our food was delicious. My wife had the coconut shrimp and couldn’t have been happier. We will eat there again.

Food was absolutely incredible and huge portions for the cost! We enjoyed the outdoor eating area which was great for lunchtime with several toddlers. The service was outstanding and we were impressed with how quickly we got our food! Great stop!!

Amazing atmosphere, great food, good drinks. New owners have done an exceptional job on the place and have really turned it around! There is also no issues with my service dog which is much appreciated. They’re the only bar in town, but they’re the best in the entire area.

The hostess at our RV campground recommended this place for us to get a bite to eat. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back the next day. Everyone that worked there were very friendly and our dinners both days were delicious. We were there on a Saturday and my husband won a chance at the Queen of Hearts game, he didn’t win but it was a fun thing for a couple of our of towner’s. The bartender offered us advice on places to eat in the Mount Rushmore area and he was very personable. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back for dinner again.

I do not leave many reviews; When I do, it’s because something was really bad or beyond amazing. I can say that the Fort Bar and Grill was BEYOND AMAZING!! I stopped by there on the 4th of July and was greeted with huge friendly smiles. It was packed when I got there, and I was told that food was taking 45 minutes or so, but the beer would be cold while I waited.
