We love 2 Potrilllos and we’ve been to the one in Corona. The food is very standardized and you expect and do receive the same flavor at all locations. We came here on Saturday at 9 pm and there was a line to order that took about 20 minutes. My one complaint is that once you get your food you do have to wait another 5-10 minutes to pay. There was only one cashier and I feel like a back up cashier would have been helpful to get the line moving. Another quick note was that because they were so busy, they had to grill carne asada and the ventilation was not that great and it got pretty smoky in there. I know they just opened so hopefully they get the hang out it.

The food was good, the service was great and the place is pretty, but the prices . I spent $85 for 4 people for take out. The burrito was small for the price and the Menudo, although it had good flavor it was pretty skimpy. The taco meat had a lot of crispy bits. Probably not going to return.

We normally don’t go to grand openings and like to wait for the craziness to calm down. We happen to be in the area and with it being Good Friday we couldn’t resist trying out the fish tacos and shrimp burrito. Somewhere along the long line and waiting, our order took over a half hour and tons of orders after us were flying out the door. We understand its a grand opening, but this guy never put in our order. Finally my burrito came out about 30 minutes later and the fish tacos 15 minutes after that. Well a few minutes later at home starting to eat and yes it all looked good… the shrimp was seasoned extremely salty and the rice was hard not well cooked. We will definitely give this place another try when the hype calms down. The employees were all polite, but looked overwhelmed.

The food was just ok. Not very good. A shrimp taco has 2 shrimp in it, and they are just less than average size .we got more than 1, and they were all the same 2 shrimp. Chicken was a bit overcooked, and the carnitas tacos had some kind of shaved meat in them instead. Not enough hoods for as much cooking they are doing and definitely not enough air conditioners. Went in about 3:00, and it was so hot in there that it made it almost miserable to be there. Service was lacking too, but maybe that was because of the heat. All of this for the low price of $60.00. We will not be back.

Saw they were open and had to try… walked in and the smell of of fresh cooking was a pleasant blast. I saw fresh fruits behind the counter and even a fresh pineapple on top of a spit of meat taking advantage of the enzymes to help tenderize the meat. I tried four different tacos, a drink and strawberries just to try a wide variety. All tasted amazing!!! (I would like less fat in the final carnitas but still great flavor). My Wife who doesn’t like Mexican food very much took down a fish taco and a shrimp taco in record time and tried to get me to go back for more… was too tired to do that but maybe later today.

This was my first time at this restaurant, I had a fish taco and a tongue taco, the service was very good, the food flavor was excellent. I do have a suggestion for management, probably reduce the number of aguas frescas to the four most sold, reduce the size of the container and replenish more often to prevent end-of-day waste. Otherwise, CONGRATULATIONS! it is a nice place where I would feel proud to bring my guests.
