Portions are good and food is tasty. Like their quick bite dimsum style. Very modern and different from other dimsum places around.

Review 2: So I stopped by to Sichuan Spring for some Chinese food and was disappointed. The menu was mostly in Chinese so I had no idea what each item brought. I thought the Stir fried Pepper Chicken has green peppers but it was very spicy. I ordered it mild nevertheless and it was pretty good. Anyways I asked for white rice and until I went to pay I didn’t notice that they charge for white rice when a plate should bring rice automatically. Someone else in my party ordered the Fish soup with cabbage. They did not like it and we had to throw it out. The celery tasted sour and bitter. The staff were good, though. Overall the nice setting and people do to help the food that they serve. Try the other places around this area before going here.

Great experience. We had stopped at another Chinese restaurant nearby first. But the wait was too long, so we bailed. Sichuan was perfect. We were ushered right in and to a seat. Shelled peanuts provided to the table shortly after seating along with hot tea. Order was taken by us pointing to our selections and came out fast and hot. Note to first-timers (and non-locals): if you want a drink other than hot tea (including water), ask for it or you’ll never see it. Definitely recommend this place to others

This is by far my favorite authentic chinese food restaurants! I go for the lunch specials and everything I have tried has been amazing! The Three Pepper Chicken is to die for especially if you like it spicy! I am a healthy eater (aka low carbs) so it is nice to go to a restaurant and be able to pick anything and not worry about it because their only carb is the rice they give you a bowl of with each dish which is great for those who do eat rice. Also, with the lunch they have all you can eat soup and scallion pancakes. Both of which are some of the best soups I have ever had as well as the pancakes. I cannot find hot and sour soup as good as this restaurant!

I have been going here for awhile and something has changed. Same management, new menu … maybe new chef? Still lots of free soup which is a plus. Scallion pancakes were bland though. Ordered twice cooked pork and maybe the pork missed that second cooking? Overall very bland. Ordered Three Pepper Chicken and found a mound vegetables with a thin layer of chicken over it. Hope this place can recover.

One of the best sichuan restaurants I have been to. The sizzling rice cake chicken is my fav. Also the soup bar comes with an entree which is a nice touch. Additionally, the staff their is very friendly and helpful in terms of explaining the menu.

This place is quite good! Dishes are not too expensive relative to other family style sichuan restaurants and the portions were good – plenty of meat. One dish that I thought was really special was “Steamed spareribs with rice flower”. [Note that flower really should have been flour]. It is a traditional homestyle type dish where tender spareribs are covered in a five spice powder marinade and breaded in a rice flour type breading so when it steams up, it’s like small kernels of rice. And it sits on top of a bed of steamed yams. This dish was so delicious! There were a few bones though – they are not boneless spareribs. I highly recommend it! Other than that, spicy fish fillet (water stewed fish which is the direct translation), beef with fresh hot pepper and double cooked pork were yum! Owners were also very very nice.

Best Chinese food in NJ. You must try 3 Pepper Chicken. OMG very spicy (for example, fried jalapeno pieces with seeds spicy) and really good. You will need something sweet or Soda to cool off the spiciness but it’s worth it.

The food here is really, really spicy and that is what you are looking for when you get into Szechuan cuisine. On every dish, it reminded me of the food that you get back in China, and every single one hit the spot. The service is really good and i would come back.
