Marvin has to be some of my favorite French and Italian food in la. The atmosphere is quaint personal and not pretentious. The food is out of this world especially there pastas. Staff we’re friendly and attentive, food came fast and for la was fairly priced. Definitely would return here a again and recommend for a date or small group of freinds. Also Definitely get the spicy pomodoro

Here I am excited for my French snack/late lunch-ish. I walk into this spot with tri-color Christmas lights somewhat tangled in the ceiling..did I really walk into a French bistro? Mussels and hamachi crudo blew me away at first and I immediately forgot about the sticky chairs, dirty cushions with holes in them, sticky floors ️ If I was to rate just the mussels and hamachi crudo they would be 5 stars but when the much anticipated vodka rigatoni arrived everything not so pleasant about the restaurant started standing out again.

You have to try the chicken parm. Very generous portions and amazing selection of wines.

Cute casual French spot with good food and wine. Didn’t seem to be monitoring the reservations through Resy app but fortunately our table of 2 got seated outside quickly on a wed night. Inside was loud and buzzing. We sat outside which was great and they allow dogs on front sidewalk

Sunday was my first time dining for dinner and we all had a great experience. French cuisine is in my top three favorites so I try to go to every single one all over Los Angeles and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve been to, and I have already been to over 15. Our server Zeke was very polite and attentive. The vibe on the inside is a mix between a traditional French bistro and a casual cocktail bar. The east side of the restaurant is the whole bar whereas the west side is where all the tables are, as well as outside seating.

I ate here with my bf today We had the octopus salad for an appetizer, which was the best part of the meal. I had the branzino, cooked well but nothing special. Also they only gave me 3 peices of asparagus (a little chummy for a $40 entree) my bf enjoyed his steak and the portions for his meal were fair. The wine was awful, like it was left out too long but my biggest issue is I feel like the servers or hostess should disclose that there is a mandatory 20% service fee. This is for all parties even a party of one. They only show your receipt with your itemized bill and then give you a receipt to sign and tip on top. It is easy to not read the full itemized bill and tip on top of the 20%. “Service fee “ . More transparency regarding this practice would make me more inclined to return.

Super low key, and excellent food. White anchovies on toast were spectacular and the roast chicken is great. Only complaint is that some of the menu feels a tiny bit overpriced, but otherwise a fantastic meal, lots of wonderful wines by the glass too.
