The atmosphere was very nice and the waitress was the right about of attentiveness. The only negative was the food was just okay for the price. Also, my friend had bought a bottle of wine for the table and most people had finished their glasses when another waiter came up and offered to fill us up, but he went to the people who still had wine in their glasses first and by the time he got to the empty glasses, there was no more wine.

FYI shrimp lovers. NOT good! The large jumbo shrimp they advertise for 25.00 were not jumbo or even close, they were medium size at best and were soft and not cold. You only get 5 and they are NOT worth it at all. The last one I almost ate was so soft, I actually spit it out. Sorry Lake Burton Grill, Im just being honest, if your going to try to appease to high quality seafood lovers with with your outrageous prices, you will need to up your game quite a bit!

The new ownership & management are doing an exceptional job of providing a diverse & compelling menu in this beautiful lakeside setting. Houston’s menu items and quality at Lake Burton. Such a huge improvement over the Chophouse. The ribs are delicious and fall off the bone. The Hawaiian Ribeye is exactly what you would get in Atlanta. Fully staffed with a great crew. They are currently only open for dinner from 5-10 but will be opening for lunch soon. And they plan to stay open 7 days a week, year round!

First things first; THIS IS NO LONGER THE CHOP HOUSE. A new company owns this place and it turned out WAY better than the previous owners had it running. This place is awesome. Perfect for the weekend getaway lake trip. Amazing environment, awesome food, everyone is super kind, all right on the water. Can’t really get any better.
