The food was great! Very authentic New Orleans and great portion sizes. The chef and founder of the restaurant came out to check on us and told us the story of her restaurant. She is very sweet and clearly knows how to make some good food. I highly recommend this place.

A true hidden gem of Fayetteville. Chef Audi is an amazing chef creating authentic New Orleans cuisine. The portions are generous and the food delivers with every bite. This place is special. Pictured is the seafood gumbo and shrimp poboy. The price point can’t be denied either. The Gumbo is seasoned extremely well and is what you want out of a meal. The shrimp poboy is made with fresh housemade bread and large shrimp (not the small shrimp) that are well seasoned and fried. The fries are also a joy to eat. Highly recommend! We will be back!

This restaurant has some of the most friendly and helpful service in Fayetteville. I visited for my first time today and had a lot of questions about the menu, but the owner was extremely sweet and told me about all the options, as well as offered me a free sample of the crawfish pasta salad (which was also the first time I had crawfish.) The menu is limited, but don’t let that fool you, you will leave full. The pasta salad was great, it had a little kick but the spice didn’t overpower the flavor of the meat. The poboy was so filling, they must use extra jumbo shrimp on their sandwich’s, these things are huge! Will definitely fill you up, and if it doesn’t, they also offer fries. The blueberry bread pudding had a luxurious lemon cream in it as well and as soon as you open the top, a sweet and fruity scent fills your nose. Definitely will back for more!

Incredible food and impeccable customer service! We got the chicken & sausage gumbo, seafood gumbo (x2), blueberry basil lemonade, banana pudding, chocolate pound cake and blueberry & lemon bread pudding. Everything tasted fresh and was so flavorful! I highly recommend and will return anytime I’m in town.

Fantastic lunch today. I had the seafood gumbo, friend 1 had the shrimp and grits and friend 2 had the Jambalaya. I snuck some of each and it was delish! The owner was amazing as well. Please visit this lovely lady. It’s worth the trip!

Delicious! I had the chicken and sausage gumbo with a spicy lemonade, Chefs kiss! I’m from up north so it’s rare to have any southern food, but it’s spicy and filling but doesn’t leave you bloated. When it’s accompanied by real southern hospitality, like here, it tastes even better! All the staff are beyond nice, helped me and my family with options that ended up all so good! I just wish I at least took a picture before I ate it all! I’m not one for leaving a review but with this place I HAVE to! Everything is a must try!

Truly excellent. The staff were so incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. I had yet to find any decent gumbo in North Carolina, until today. But these true professionals blew the concept of “decent” gumbo out of the water. I can’t wait to go back.

Wow, this place is outstanding! When we visited, there were only a couple of people working so, understandably, it took a while to be served after placing our order. But the wait was worth it. All the food was seasoned and cooked according to our preference and tasted simply amazing. My daughter loved the fried chicken cutlets and beignet. The gumbo was the best I ever had. The dining room was also very clean. Everyone was friendly. We will happily return.

I had the seafood gumbo , im pescatarian so i was super excited to have gumbo with out sausage . The gumbo did have ground sausage in the roux and i specifically mentioned several times i didnt eat me and haven’t for years now . They reassured me the seafood gumbo only contained shrimp & crab in it 🙁 Luckily i noticed within 2 bites so i didn’t get sick !! My experience over all was great , customer service was great , but once i called and informed them about the mistake that was made ,i was told i could come back and get a discounted bowl but i had already paid for something i couldn’t eat so i didn’t think it was right for me to have to purchase my meal again.

Went to the Gumbo Shack and had a taste of everything and this place is AMAZING! The seafood gumbo had enough meat and seafood for every bite. The crawfish spinach dip was PERFECTION. The stuffed pork chop was stuffed with more meat and with the spicy sauce it was a perfect compliment. And the service was 5 stars! The chef even came by to thank us for ordering. I can’t wait to come back and visit again. Thank you all so much!!
