The McCormicks
Thought a local coffee shop would have better quality, but they are using the same automated coffee machine that Starbucks uses. If you are after your cup of syrup and sugar with a splash of coffee in it, you wouldn’t notice. But trying to find a quality cup of coffee that isn’t just basically watered down nonsense, then this is literally the same quality as Starbucks has dropped to. Manager is a good example of what happens when partaking of the syrup and sugar offered too often. The woman needs some help. Last gripe is the outside furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages – spiders seemed to really enjoy living there.

A good place for working and studying. The second floor is quite with lots of tables, chairs and most importantly, sunlight. The shop is bright and cozy environment. If you need some private meeting, they also have a small reserve room for the group.

Drinks are good. I had the pumpkin spice soy latte. It has spice sprinkled on top. There is foam, which I like. Some places don’t foam the soy and a latte should definitely have foam. Service was a bit slow. When paying the first gal was curt. The second one who handed me my latte was much more friendly. This was at the drive thru in Ferndale.

Just had a hot cocoa, but not chocolate-y enough and far too sweet for me. I am super disappointed that they no longer have real mugs, just paper cups with plastic lids. I don’t go there much anyway and nothing about this visit will change that. The server was helpful and friendly. The person who told us they were closing soon was a bit bruske. We were pretty much the only people there, I didn’t hear our order called and the drinks just sat there getting cold. Still, it was a comfortable place to sit and talk.

Far better than Charbucks and simply a lovely experience when wanting tasty coffee served by friendly helpful Baristas. The atmosphere is always calm, they play nice music, the chairs are comfortable and I only have one complaint: they have very little food to choose from otherwise I’d give them 5 Stars.
