COVID Visit: they behave professionally and had everything ready for pick up along with utensils but they missed to put napkins in there (this is a BBQ place, you must have napkins). However the food overall was delicious but the Bacon Jalapeños did lack flavor and the corn had a distinctive taste that I liked yet not enough that I had to put it back down. It is worth checking out.

Went in on April 30th a young kid about 8 years old was running the front obviously overwhelmed. The place was empty but had a few pick up orders. Had to order thru a kiosk that was not user friendly. Finally placed my order 80 dollars later did not get what I ordered paid fir extra items they were out of but still charged for. Nothing was made correctly when I get home the potatoes are old like they been sitting under the heat lamp all day. I called and was assured a refund. Twin weeks later mothering texting the owner back and forth he ignored me so I go back to the establishement where he cusses at me and could not figure out how to administer a refund I waited 45 minutes mind you he cussing me out the entire time while other customers witness the behavior. Processes refund and then two days later retracts. This place is giving the actual jambos a bad name and whatever chicken cross the toad is a front and bad food steer clear

When to get some BBQ to go. Friendly counter staff. Efficient. Quickly prepared everything on a quiet weekday evening. Love their meat and sauce. Less than perfect rating as I can hardly understand their menu at the back of the counter. It’s huge which is a plus but I wish it was printed clearly. Maybe in hindsight I should’ve taken my time to read their table menu but I was in a hurry.

I pick up door dash here all the time and the customer service is beyond exceptional . I get my order related to me every time . I’m greeted by the nicest kids I’ve ever met . Idk if the kids are actual employees but I love how involved they are with handling customers . This place is worth it . Great business and awesome job as parents working with the kids . I hope this business is here to stay and does great things in Pantego !

Really strange I went in to pick up an order and there was three kids working not one adult inside or at least any adult I can see also it was really hot in that place and it was during school hours The little girl that helped me had to be maybe 9 or 10 and the other two they were in the back one was doing dishes and other one was preparing food I definitely will not order food from there not that I don’t think that the food would be good but that you have children working in there when they should be at school also hello child labor laws . Yes its family owned but that still doesn’t give you the right to work them like you do .

Weirdest experience ever! There were 3 kids running the place from what I could tell. Didn’t look like there was an adult anywhere. Two little girls maybe 8 and 10 yrs old and a boy maybe 12 yrs old in the back doing dishes. Definitely won’t be going back. That’s just crazy!

I’ve been wanting to try Jambo’s out for a while now. I am sad to say that I’m disappointed that I waited for as long as I have.my wife ordered the Satie.(Baked potato) I ordered the ribs. These are quite possibly the best ribs I’ve ever eaten. They were so tender the bone slid right out. The plate comes with 2 sides. I would compare the size to a family side at Chicken Express. I had plenty to share. And still some to take home. My wifes potato probavly weighd 3 pounds. We’ve definitely found our new favorite BBQ. And will be baxk sooner than later.

This was our first time visiting this barbecue location. And I have to say, that they did not disappoint. I got the two meat plate with two sides while my husband got the Jambo Texan. Which was definitely filling. But what I liked the most was the peach cobbler. And we drove from North Richland Hills, TX to get food from here. I can say that we will definitely be back.
