Casual dining, order at the counter & seat yourself, refills are self service customer accessible, plus staff checks on you at your table occasionally, but there is no true table service. Food was excellent & served surprisingly fast. Staff makes a point to be interested in you without being intrusive. Greens & beans are prepared with pork. Other green vegetables are fried or served on a salad. Will definitely visit again.

My friend and I stopped by to hear Charlie Ray play, and let me tell you, it was a whole vibe in itself. First time I’ve eaten here and it was great! I had the bacon cheeseburger topped with pimento chees3, along with fries. The seating area is nice, as well as the openness of the area where musicians perform. I love to be by the lake. We’ll be back for sure! The food came quickly and the workers were friendly. THANK YOU! You’re doing a great job, despite what any petty comments people leave.

The whole catfish had a great taste and were fried to perfection. The hush puppies probably would have been good, but they were doughy in the middle. Other sides (collards, mashed potatoes, cheese grits, fries) were average. Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the lake.

They had a live band the night we went, which was nice to sit on the deck listen. The food service was a little slow. We just got a salad and some boneless wings. Salad was large. I would recommend sharing.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff good food. Available by water or vehicle on the backwater. Clean cozy environment inside or outside with a view of the water & docks. The restrooms are clean as well as the fountain drink station. Ordered the grouper plate with sides although good I don’t believe it was really grouper. The waitress brought my dish to me and said “catfish with sides?” I replied that I had ordered grouper, then she said it was grouper. It appeared to me that it was either flounder or catfish. The convenience store has a good variety of goods including t-shirts etc.

Great dining experience! The line was kinda long when we arrived, but the wait was not too terribly long. I liked the way the menu was passed around while you waited in line. That was really a great idea. I also loved that you actually ordered and paid for your food at the counter before sitting down. The place was packed, but there was inside and outside seating. Surprisingly enough, although it was terribly busy, the food came out pretty quickly. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. I ordered the catfish with cheese grits. It was delicious . I truly enjoyed my visit. If I am ever in the area I would definitely stop in again.

Just what Lake Harding needed. Great job on the renovations. Boat parking can be a little tight at peak summer hours but worth the amazing sunset rides back home. Our only complaint is that they don’t allow small dogs out on the outdoor deck like other restaurants do in the area. Revisit Update: They now allow small dogs on a leash in the outdoor deck. Thank you! Grouper was amazing.

Went in to sit at the bar as I have done plenty of times before. There were two guys there already sitting. I moved two chairs to sit down and the owner told me there wasn’t any room for me to sit. Over half the bar was open! To make things worse he was very very rude in telling me. If the guy doesn’t want to run the restaurant then he should sell it.

Shrimp and Grits an absolute no-go in my opinion. The dish was extremely bland and lacked any flavor. Philly Cheesesteak came out without any cheese. The wrap was pressed and burned on both sides. Wings were excellent and grouper sandwich was great. The door gets backed up due to cafe style dining which we were not a fan.
