What a great surprise! Food was delicious! AND They took my order five minutes before closing (we have been turned away so many times at other places once closing has begun). The service was genuinely pleasant,

My daughter picked this place for her birthday dinner. It is a small, dine in or carry out establishment. The employees were nice. The second one that brought out our plates was friendlier than the first, but both fine. The service was quick and we enjoyed our meal. Decent place to enjoy a meal if you are in the mood for fried rice with scallops, calamari, or shrimp; which is what we had. There are other meat choices as well (chicken or steak).

Had teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Serving size was big and plentiful. I didn’t leave hungry and will return. The teriyaki was thick and tasty with enough to mix my rice in.

I’ve taken many friends and coworkers here for lunch and dinner. Its super unhealthy, but it is very delicious. I eat here like once every 2 weeks. Perfect meal to satisfy your carb needs after or before a heavy workout… it always hits the spot. Im a little uncertain how I eat all this in one sitting, but I manage. Haha. Most places make fried rice in many different ways. I consider this place the RIGHT way to make japanese fried rice – with a ton of butter, garlic, and soy sauce. Damn unhealthy, but damnnnnn delicious.

This is my favorite hibachi place and one of my favorite restaurants. I eat there at least once a week. Fast awesome service! Everyone is very friendly and it doesn’t take them long to cook the food. I always order the hibachi steak with double meat, steamed rice, egg rolls and a small salad. Love Emporer’s Grill Derby KS!!!

My husband got Chicken Fried Rice and I wasn’t sure what I wanted. The cashier recommended the Hibachi menu I ordered beef hibachi. She asked if I’ve had hibachi before. I said I have, but not from there. She asked from where and was unimpressed when I told her

I’m conflicted because the food is good. It’s not Japanese food by any stretch of the meaning. But the food is tasty and is above average chinese-american food. But that imho is the problem, its calling itself a Japanese grill. I’d say it’s worth a visit for the occasional work lunch. Food is 4 stars but its 2.5-3 because it’s not what its advertising itself to be.

We went for a laid back anniversary dinner and it was absolutely delicious – we both got hibachi with noodles and egg rolls. Food was hot and fresh, this is my new favorite place to eat. Also, they were extremely friendly and took a minute to talk to us about the mural on the wall which is beautiful. Highly recommend.
