Quite delightful experience for me. The food was alright (not as mind-blowing as we’d expected), but it was decent. I had a duck as an entree and felt like it was under seasoned and texture was not as tender – I usually like it more charred and crispy on the skin. The dessert was pretty solid in my opinion, drinks were also on point (top quality French wine selections). I really enjoyed the ambiance here, seems pretty upscale and classy though I’d hope the food could be more elevated for this type of location in Pasadena.

We were here on Mother’s day, and our experience was relatively ok. The quality of the food is promising and has a lot of potential, but as some of the other diners pointed out, the service was not quite on point. For us, one of our dishes was missed and we got a duplicate on another item instead. I guess you could blame the environment because it was a bit noisy while it was not really busy yet. Water refills at minimum and we often need to ask for it. Also they remember to provide your kids a high chair but did not provide the diningware… Such “small things” like these are what they are lacking, and if these concerns you, you might want to be prepared.

My initial impression of Arbour was that it looked upscale, but lacked pretentiousness. The tables were far enough apart that dining felt more private. There was however, a noticeable smell of stale, dirty water; perhaps from the bar that just wafted through the restaurant. Thankfully the smell wasn’t strong and was later covered by the smell of food. The staff were welcoming and friendly, but lacked timing. They were there when not needed and hard to find when needed. We paid approximately $260+ for our dinner with tip.

An upscaled restaurant with reasonable price.

Five stars in all categories. From first taste, the flavors were delicious. We were celebrating a birthday so the manager gave us a round of proseco as well as the more typical candle on a dessert. One of the guests could not eat dairy, and the server went to extraordinary lengths to accommodate her.

I made a reservation for 2 using the Open Table through Yelp. I showed up 5 days later and everything was great & I just had to give my name (not even show the reservation on my phone) and they seated us.

The concept of the restaurant is fantastic. The name comes from Latin root meaning of a tree. So the restaurant describes itself like this: Farm-to-table Californian fare & craft cocktails in a relaxed, fashionable space with a woodsy feel. I loved the ambiance and felt very welcome and comfortable dining in this place.

This is the place to go for excellent dining experience. It’s my fourth time here and I still find the food and service amazing . The tagliatelle with sausage ragu, duo of duck and Mediterranean sea bass are family favorites. The striploin is rich and satisfying. We finished the meal with the blackberries with curd and almond brittle and dark chocolate mousse with raspberries. The ambiance and good service just added to my overall satisfaction.
