I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone can give this restaurant a positive review. Let’s be honest, this place is really run down. As soon as I entered, I wanted to leave. It is so old, dirty, dusty and musty smelling inside. I didn’t even want to sit down in the booth, let alone order anything. Their catch of the day was grilled Mahi, for $23.99. It along with the baked potato was absolutely not worth the money. Truthfully, I was so disgusted by the interior, I wouldn’t enjoy any meal eaten there. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Sorry … just trying to be real.

You have to shuck your own oysters which is actually fine. They were decent. $5 margaritas!

Was in town for a concert and stopped here for dinner. The food was delicious and the servers were friendly. Even came back post concert and had a great time at the bar. Live music, friendly staff, delicious food!

We were there right at open. The server was nice but the only good thing about it was the raw oysters and fried scallops. My daughter’s pasta sat in half an inch of oil, my husband’s steak had no seasoning and neither did the fries. The atmosphere is dark and there was no ambient music or anything. We would recommend mango mangos instead. We spent less and the food was amazing.

For what it is – an old timey run down dive bar with a ceiling that leaks when it rains – the atmosphere was surprisingly enjoyable to have oysters, pretzel bites, and French fries after our earlier dinner left us hungry. The French fries were perfectly crispy / crunchy, and the beer cheese pretzel was great. Steamed oysters were good although seemed a bit rushed out since several were not opened and took quite a bit of work to shuck. If you want oyster Rockefeller call ahead because they run out often.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the food and service. We had Lexi for our server and she was awesome! Even with the 3 crazy kids we had, she took the time to answer our questions about the drinks and food. This place had a relaxed atmosphere, a full bar and a pool table. The food was really good. This had become the new favorite of St Augustine Beach.

I’d pass this one up unless you’re going for the bar. This was convenient walking distance from our condo across the street. As I learned too late from their Facebook page, they are more of a bar that also serves as a restaurant on the side. The dinner fare we had was marginal at best. The blackened mahi-mahi fish of the day was decent along with the vegetables but the fries were obviously oven warmed from the freezer section of the grocery. The fettuccini alfredo was marginal quality, though the grilled chicken itself was good. The Philly cheesesteak was also ok but had very few peppers. For the price, you can do much better around here. On the positive side, our waitress was attentive and cheerful. There was also a fella singing and picking the guitar the entirety of our visit. He wasn’t exactly great. But it added something to the experience for what it’s worth.

Local bar with oysters by the bucket. Nothing fancy, very casual. Take out is available, but dining in allows you to enjoy the music of local artists. Across the street from Saint Augustine Beach.
