Everything was delicious! Our server Omar was super great! He made recommendations for the skillet toppings (amazing!) and gave us great ideas about what to do in the area. This is definitely a place to come whenever you want something delicious. Also the tater kegs are ridiculously yummy.

I would not recommend going to this place. Me and my boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. It was both breaded heavily and the steak had white parts from it being frozen. The cornbread was very dry and everything was just not seasoned at all. Save your money for a better place !

Service today was good and the main courses were delicious. The Lemon German pancake is still my favorite of the fruit flavors but the blueberry was fun to try. The sides of ham and bacon were really unremarkable and we would have done better to save the money and stick with the main meal only. We learned a bit of local history when we sat in Van Cliburn’s booth today and that was really neat.

Everything lacked seasoning simply salt and pepper would have been good it wasn’t there. The gravy was the best part of the meal. No utensils or condiments were given. It looked good but highly disappointed. Precooked chicken probably would have been better fresh

Place was super busy but they managed to get us seated immediately. I went with the chicken and waffles. Was pretty good especially for the price. Wife had eggs and French toast which the eggs were cold and she didn’t really like them. The pancakes were good though. Ultimately, I’d come back again. Better than waffle house but not as good as a breadwinner. (Much more affordable though)

Strong memories here from long ago…Though you can no longer sober up after the bar smoking countless cigarettes and drinking pots of coffee, the food is still exactly what it’s been for at least 25yrs. Expect to wait if you’re there for breakfast, but it is a slam dunk your whole party will enjoy it. Come in and get some Dutch Babies and drink in one of Fort Worths’ stand-by greats

Great Fort Worth staple that everyone needs to try. Anything you get is good but I like the skillets the most. It’s has the best bang for your buck with everything in one dish that’ll definitely fill you up

My hot chocolate came out spilled over the side of the cup and filled with foam. After the foam settled my cup was half full.

This place was excellent all the way around, service was great, the food was amazing, I tried the German pancake and would get it again. It has an old classic country type theme going on. Obviously very old, but in a good way. It’s also open 24/7.
