I have just never been disappointed with McAlister’s in Flowood on River Oaks off of Lakeland. There was a special reward discount so I had ordered the King Club! I ate this amazing sandwich for lunch and dinner that day! Highly recommend, staff is always polite and helpful, food is always great!

I frequent this location a lot, mainly out of convenience. I’ve realized over the past 6 months a severe drop in attitude, service, and quality of food to a point where I am debating not returning. The restaurant is turning customers down with over an hour wait and I have waited 45 minutes for my pickup only to be checked on once. Soon after I’ve heard they are no longer taking online orders. I would give a 1 star, but I’m holding onto a glimmer of hope. This is a prime location in Flowood. There is no reason for this poor of an experience.

The experience was ok. There were several workers but only one cashier taking orders the others just had their backs turned and didn’t really acknowledge the guests as we begin to line up. Finally someone shouted for extra help in the front, the cashier that assistant us was very nice.

Staff is rude and unwelcoming. I had to ask were our food was after 30 minutes waiting with no one there tonight… as they handed out to-go orders to everyone else that came after us. They left our food sitting there and got cold. Wife didn’t even finish her spud max cause it was cold and gross. We have had multiple issues with this place for years. If you want McAllisters go to Pearl location or even Madison. Newk’s in Flowood is also great! They know what they are doing. Flowood McAllisters new motto should be “Consistently Terrible!”

if I could give this place zero stars I would. I order here somewhat frequently and I’m not sure why I do because they mess up my order every single time. I ordered a nacho basket to go and they didn’t put the cheese in there… who does that? It’s because none of the staff have a clue what is ever going on. This place has really gone down hill. The food seems like it’s thrown together by toddlers.

1:30pm visit. After lunch rush, lots of staff whom could be more attentive to customers. Great Savannah chopped salad, mix could use more discrepancy towards “good” leads. Overall decent experience, would eat here again if in town.

Very nice staff and clean restaurant. I order here often for lunch and I’ve never had a problem here thus far. My only suggestion would be to order ahead or online during lunch hours because they can get pretty busy during that time and sometime have a wait.

McAlister is great family environment to dine at or just have a quick break if you’re out with your spouse or a group of friends. They have an excellent sandwich menu and to include all other dishes such as salads, soups, or those mighty spud potatoes. The menu seems to be healthy conscious if you are watching your calorie intake.
