Grand Haven finally gets its own Popeyes! This location has been open for a few days now and I can say that the store was very clean, nice atmosphere and the employees were nice and friendly. There is a hand sanitizing station right as you enter the restaurant which is really good and I’m sure many will appreciate.

I’ve had their chicken sandwiches more than a few times. This was the first time I’ve seen a BAD one. Our party had four. Three were up to their usual standards. The fourth was BAD. The chicken was more like rubber than poultry. My daughter didn’t finish it, and gave me the rest. There were parts that I could barely chew through. Also, the chicken tenders should be called Chicken Toothpicks. I’ve never seen smaller ones. This was the “dinner” version. On the plus side, they tasted great. “Blackened” was awesome. The food would have been five stars, but the bad sandwich and the tiny tenders brought it down to a three. We didn’t discover these things until we were a few miles away sitting down to eat. The employees were friendly, but all of the food was done and sitting on the shelf but the tenders didn’t come out for another 4-5 minutes. We’ll return, but one more experience like this and that will be the last time.

Was going to get chicken tonight and then I remembered how terrible the service was when I went here two months ago, and how no one from this location, or on the app, or from corporate has responded to my concerns. Still NEVER returning to this location or company at all. Popeyes sucks. If you are considering eating here don’t.

We were promptly waited on. No wait. Having never been to Popeye I wondered if the Cajun fries were spicy. The clerk offered us a sample. Not spicy but very good fries. We had stopped at another fast food place and in the time it took us place our order at Popeye we never even got greeted at the other place. Popeyes will be our go to place in Grand Haven.

Ordered 8 chicken tender meal. Came with 4 sauces, one side and added a side. Chicken was good. Coleslaw and potatoes were good. Service was nice and friendly. Would have given more starts if that little food didn’t cost $35.00! Can go down the street to any other place and get the same meal for half the cost.

This is my first and likely last time to a Popeyes. I had to wait in line forever at the drive-thru. Then the food was so unbelievably basic that it really wasn’t worth the wait. However , I will say the strawberry biscuit was tasty if not as fresh as it could have been.

2nd customer on opening day. Perfect Popeye’s experience. Everything great, the way it’s supposed to be. Enthusiastic staff ready to serve and help out. Excited to have Popeye’s in this little town of GH. Here’s to forever!

Fresh food, clean, and really friendly. I used the drive-thru and they keep it tidy. It may be the best Popeyes that I have ever been to. Chefs kiss .
