The food is still good, really hasn’t changed which is more than can be said for some other chains. The fact that they don’t do table service anymore will take some getting used to. Unless you do drive through there’s practically no interaction with the staff unless you can’t figure out how to use the interactive menu. I guess the upside to this is I no longer feel obligated to tip for what really amounts to fast food.

What happened to Steak ‘n Shake? Instead of going back to their roots and making it a place to gather with family and friends, they have turned the nostalgic restaurant into a modern flop. Cold, soggy fries, and small beef patties will have you asking, ” Where’s the beef!” Their prices are way too high for the products they serve and leave you thinking that you should have stayed home and cooked.

This is the worst Steak n shake I’ve ever been to. They consistently mess up my order one way or another. This is my last straw though. Who burns a bun, realizes it and still makes a sandwich with it?

This country is going to hell. People don’t want to go to a restuarant and take their own order. Might as well stay at home than deal with the kiosk. They are trying to make the customer do the work. I recommend to quit eating out. That’s the only way to get these company’s to fix their laziness and greed.

Ordered two large chili’s through drive thru. Both were slightly watered down. Every S&S I visit, their chili is all over the map in thickness. Drove thru was kind of slow, but every store is that way. $5.69 for a bowl of chili is quite expensive, too.

I don’t review chain restaurants, but WOW this place has great food. Even better burgers than some of the local eateries I visited. Good fresh fries too, hot and tasty!
