It is definitely a fish restaurant. If you don’t like real sushi, you won’t like this place. The decor is starting to show some age. The service is sub-par. The one waiter even went so far as to berate my girlfriend for putting in a simple request. Interesting, but I will probably never go back.

When I visit my sister in nebraska we always make at least one trip to Sakura because she and the kids love the food here. The entertainment of the chef varies. Some are more enthusiastic in the preparation than others but usually a good laugh and generally a good egg tosser to those with the biggest mouths at the table lol But just one small warning for the ladies that use hairspray, lean way back when you see that lighter come out Overall fun place to go and pretty good food.

The food was nicely presented. We got the love boat for 2. I got the hot and sour soup and it was delicious. The scallops we’re slightly overcooked In a salty sauce. I loved the dip for our fried squid appetizer. The sushi itself wasn’t my cup of tea. I asked for a specific roll with our boat since it was a chefs special. I wanted the kiss of fire at first I was told it was chefs choice but I asked our server for as he put in our order for the kiss of fire. He did get them to make it but came back to the table to berate me for not asking him sooner. I was quite happy that another server started helping us after that. It ruined my experience as I was polite but he was not. The bartender was so nice and our drinks were very good.

This place is a gem for Norfolk, NE. I highly recommend the hibachi salmon. It’s seared perfectly and seasoned well. Best seared salmon I have had ever. Better than 70 plates in Omaha by a long shot.

With a fun hibachi experience and an assortment of sushi rolls this is a place to relax and get entertainment all in one. While the portions seem to be all the small side for the price it’s usually quick and still tastes pretty good.

You normally don’t think of fresh sushi in central Nebraska, but this place is amazing. Some of the best hot and sour soup I’ve had. Service also excellent. It only gets four stars because I noticed many of the booths had rips or tears in them.

This was a good choice for dinner. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it. A little warm temperature wise. The staff is pretty speedy and attentive. Drinks came to the table fast. I ordered the green dragon roll and the husker roll. Both had a quality presentation value and came out looking fresh. The taste was great as well, alot of flavor. I also ordered the octopus sashimi which I liked and the squid sashimi which I didn’t like the texture of. I also got two glasses of plum wine which hinted flavors aiming towards a port style wine, and it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant. A+

Opted for the booth side. Sushi was alright, didn’t like that they didn’t have sauces on them so they were a bit dry. Charged xtra for a small side of eel sauce which I thought was strange considering It was a very small amount. Clear soup was good. Overall we tried 3 sushi rolls and really wasn’t impressed.

Got a hibachi steak meal with an extra side of yum yum sauce and I called because of the sauce not tasting right. They told me to come in and when I did the owner or manager argued with me saying it tasted fine. I had been here numerous times and never had a problem until now. He was so rude I just ended up asking for a refund and he refused to give me one. Said all he could do was give me a new side of rice when I dumped the sauce on the whole meal already. It WAS my favorite restaurant in town and after this visit, I will not go again. Horrible horrible customer service.
