I had a disappointing experience. The pizza was pedestrian — easy to bake, but it tasted closer to a store-bought frozen pizza than freshly made. But my biggest issue was the price. It was half pepperoni and half sausage. That’s it. Yet it was more expensive than a baked pizza I could have picked up at Domino’s. Once was enough for this consumer. I won’t be back.

The customer service is always excellent. My boyfriend said he placed an order online for me to pickup but the store had no record of it. After making sure I wasn’t getting charged twice, they immediately started making the pizza for me and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Apparently he didn’t press “place order” at the end of the online process so the store really didn’t get the order. They did an excellent job making sure I was taken care of.

So here’s the thing, it’s Papa Murphy’s, the pizza is decent. Here’s the problem, the employees don’t pay attention to the order you place and they are really limited on what they are willing to do do make your order right when they do mess up. I placed an order that included a cheese bread (there are two types and we order one of each). One cheese bread arrived and the other did not. They charge a $6 delivery charge and have a $1 service fee. When I called to have my order corrected, first without even looking at my order I was told they sent the right order, which they did, it was just incomplete. When she did finally look it up and acknowledge the error on their part they were unwilling to deliver the item that THEY MISSED. I was told I could drive to them (again I paid an additional charge for delivery, and it’s not delivery if I come and pick it up, now is it?) or they could put it on my account for next time. I paid for delivery for a reason and would expect that they complete the order that I paid for. Really, really poor way to do business. Again, the food is good enough, but the customer service is garbage. They accepted my payment for the food, right? And I was charged for delivery, right?
