I finally stopped by Pops for the first time after wanting to go forever. AND OMG!!!!!!! This place right here is like none other. I normally don’t do lines in the hot sun, but ba beeeee . . . It was worth the wait. I bought the medium rib tips, a 4-rib snack with potato salad and corn and a rib tip dinner with baked beans and potato salad. Everything was delicious!!! Everybody loved their food. The rib tips and ribs were seasoned to perfection. This by far is the best place to get ribs and rib tips. The customer service was great, and the food was excellent. I will definitely go back . . . Line and all!

Great service, easy to order, food is beyond top notch, always a good experience, hat’s off to you guys, keep up the good work , in Milwaukee making Memphis proud! They say some of the best food comes from Memphis Tennessee and I must say this is true, I’ve been there….. so don’t miss out in having this type of cooking here in Milwaukee.

First time coming by and it did not disappoint! Staff is fun and friendly. I picked up the Pulled Pork sandwich with the Mac&Cheese on top. Simply put delicious! Also picked up the snack size ribs that were cooked/smoked perfectly. I’ll need to stop by early in the day to pick up some brisket because they were sold out by 12:30pm. Definitely coming back for more! Also ask for more BBQ sauce because there’s never enough.

We met with Michael (Pop’s) a couple months ago to discuss our school fundraiser. He committed to being the food vendor and we followed up with confirmation emails. Marketing flyers were mailed, emailed and posted, highlighting Pop’s Memphis Style BBQ. When we reached out yesterday, we were advised that Pop’s would no longer be available. This leaves us two weeks to find a replacement! You should be ashamed!!

Sometimes, it depends on who’s barbecuing in order to get some good ribs, other than that the ribs are pretty good. There prices keep going up every year. That why I stop going so much. I’ll go 3 times out of the year.

I live near this place for a year and a half and finally got to try it. I’ve heard so many good things about Pop’s. Pictured is the Jimmy John (brat and pulled pork) and the Brisket dinner with green beans and mac n cheese. Not pictured, burger and cole slaw (delivered to wife at work). The brat was cooked and smoked to perfection with the pulled pork being extremely tender and flavorful. It was topped off with some well rounded BBQ sauce. The brisket is a drier bisket with seasoning, and you can get a choice of sauce. The thin slices drape over a fork with a nice smoke ring. Even being a dry style, it is super tender. The mac n cheese is made with a sharp chedder and slightly peppered. The green beans look and taste like they are straight out of a can. It appears that – from what I could see – the potato salad and coleslaw were store bought. This isn’t to downplay Pop’s skills. I saw someone being served a Turkey leg, and I was half tempted to order one as well. The employees are super helpful and friendly. They will help you out with any questions. If you want good, quality smoked meat, come to Pop’s.

I saw the long line while riding past & thought to myself, it must be good if people are waiting outside in the rain. Then the delicious smell from the grill had me do a U-turn & hop in line as well…it was so worth it. Hands down, the best BBQ ever! The meat was so tender & seasoned (see pic of 1 of my food items although my greedy self ordered way more lol). It was also nice to see the owner walking down the line thanking everyone. I will be returning for sure.

POP’S is amazing all the way around. From the friendly customer service to the delicious and savory food choices! The quantity and quality of food is definitely worth the price and is affordable. I had an opportunity to meet and speak with POP’S when I was standing in line waiting to place my order…..what a humble and respectable person…..a true people’s person!! Do yourself a favor and stop by to pickup some brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage and other menu items you won’t be disappointed!!! Food wasn’t great…..smothered everything in bbq sauce. Once I wiped away the sauce the meat was burnt to a crisp. The smoke flavor wasn’t very evident and had a bad smoke flavor. Waste of $40. Suffice to say we won’t be back. This was not Memphis bbq…..

Line for this food truck was long, but it went fast. The staff were very efficient & friendly. We got rib tips, chicken with mac and cheese & corn. Not all menu items come with sides, so read menu carefully. Food was good, though meats a little dry. Price was very reasonable.
