Service was friendly but pretty slow. Menu was VERY limited. Crab bites were good but my chicken skewers were almost insulting. Dry, bland chicken on skewers with teriyaki sauce slopped on like a kids meal. Pretty disappointed for what I paid.

I enjoyed my birthday at The Lookout. The drinks, food, and atmosphere was ideal for a night out on the river in Tuscaloosa. I always enjoy my visit and the friendly service.

I loved to eat Pecan salad in the restaurant; however, the salad ingredients recently changed. The menu needs to be updated.

Our waitress was great and the view was beautiful. The prices were reasonable for a hotel restaurant. However, the food is just not good. We tried the nachos and the flatbread. The cheese was a very odd consistency and the chicken was dry. We also had to wait awhile for our food. This would be fine for drinks but I do not recommend eating there.

We were here for a casual dinner. The restaurant is clean and has a good view. The food is very good, exceeding our expectations! The price is reasonable. I saw many negative reviews. Maybe they haven’t been consistent with the quality of food and service over the years. But we had a very good experience for our first time here.

The place is very beautiful, esp in the outdoor area. The service was really nice. The food, however, was okay and not the best.

It was a beautiful day today and we thought we’d have a beautiful time at a place that we could always catch a breeze and have good food and drinks. Sadly, the service and quality of food was lack thereof. Our server had a lack of knowledge of the menu, did not come to check on us, and our food was cold. After speaking with the manager, we thought it’d improve. The server basically disappeared. The manager offered apologies and to take the food off the tab; thanks to that, but that wasn’t the point. Please provide better service as the menu and atmosphere has so much potential.

Great concept, but terrible service. The appeal of this place is that it is a rooftop bar, however, the hostess would not allow anyone to sit outside. The appetizer came out with the main course and the waitress gave misinformation about what the appetizer consisted of. The owner should be aware of how this restaurant is being mismanaged. This was on 5/10.
