Some of the best Italian you’ll find on Nantucket! We had a big party and luckily we’re able to be seated out back on the patio. It’s a cozy space and the inside is cute too. The service was tremendous! Very quick and attentive. As I said, we had a big group and a group that likes to drink. We never had issues getting our (several) refills. I didn’t take pictures of everything but the Brussel sprouts are a must try. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled shrimp for my entree and it was delicious

Wow! This place is just amazing! The food was unbelievable. The penne vodka is literally to die for. The roasted garlic bread is not to be missed. The Nana’s meatballs are a must order. The bolognese. The chicken parm. The fettuccine Alfredo was incredibly fresh. They make all of their pasta fresh and the owner was so friendly! There is a reason this place is so busy!

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review. I have always had a good dinner here until now. It was well over an hour after ordering that our food showed up, but not all of ours. It was 10 minutes or more before mine showed up!! It was disappointing that our waitress never came to tell me the status of my dinner at any point and i was trying to find her to cancel it by that time but couldn’t! I always order Mama’s Lasagna as I had never had a bad meal here until this time, it was not good! Actually, it was terrible and I couldn’t believe it! I ate 4 bites of it and that is all I could bare to eat!!

We were a group of 8. Restaurant says it doesn’t take reservations. When we got there we were greeted by 2 women. We asked if they have room for 8 and they looked at their book and after a few minutes of mulling it over they said if we want to eat there we would have to sit separately at 2 round tables next to each other. I asked if we could push them together. The one women responded that they “can’t push two round tables together”.She looked at me as if I had asked a terrible question and responded to me as if I were a moron. How could I ever ask such a dumb question about round tables. They wouldn’t seat us until all 8 of us were there. The nastier of the two women then pointed somewhere and said to “go wait over there”. Not you are welcome to wait over there. Or would you. Mid waiting over there. She Essentially wanted us to get out of her way. While waiting, we saw 2 square tables that could easily be pushed together and also 3 tables of 2 that could be pushed together. When we asked if those tables would be available to push together, They gave us some excuse why they could not be so we continued to wait. After being seated, 20 minutes later, a group of local kids came in and they pushed the 3 tables of 2 together for the 7 of them. Why would they do that for the local kids and not my party of 8? When the main courses finally were served, 70 minutes later, the food came out 2 at a time. It took them about 10+ minutes for all 8 of our meals to show up. After waiting 70 minutes, you would think that the 8 meals would come out within seconds of each other.. That said , the linguini and clams were cold and the limone chicken was absolute rubber (had to be microwaved) with zuchinni noodles soaked in greasy butter. I have never returned a meal in my life. After the rudeness of the hostess and the wait for the food, there was no way I was not returning it. We have been coming to Nantucket for 35 years and have never eaten at Fasaros and we will never eat there again. the reason being the rudeness of the hostess. PS we pushed the round tables together anyway. It was easily done without the hostess’s permission. Not a big deal to make a party of 8 happy.

The food was off the charts good. We had the pizza, scallops dish and appetizers. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only downside was that it took a long time for the food to arrive and it came sporadically.

HOMEMADE ITALIAN ! ! !… Yup in Nantucket…. This place was Awesome ! Just a little bit out of downtown so there usually isn’t a wait… Nice latge outdoor seating area… And the food ??? 10 out of 10… Can’t wait to go back next year or if I’m lucky one more time this year… Thanks for a Great Dinner with my Family and Friends….

I loved this place! One of the best pizzas I’ve had outside of the NY/NJ area! Great crust, excellent idea for a special pizza topping, and wonderful service. I’ll go back next time I’m on Nantucket.
