The family wanted brunch after church so I looked on Yelp for a good place nearby. This came up with a great menu for everyone so we decided to drop in. It was around 1pm and the place was busy, but the hostess said we would be seated within 25 minutes and indeed we were. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Even after our server had come by to take our drink order, because we didn’t have any food or drinks at our table, two other servers stopped by to ask if we needed anything. The server provided us excellent recommendations and was very patient with us. We brought our two daughters, 12 and 8, who are both extremely picky. The 8 yr-old ordered grilled cheese, but didn’t like the type of cheese it came with and our server was amazingly understanding about it and gave her something else to eat. My husband ordered to chorizo omelet which he really enjoyed and I had the eggs benedict with fruit on the side. The girls both enjoyed their hot chocolate. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was extremely impressive and I would love to give her a shout out here, but I did let her manager know that she made the experience wonderful. Our family and I highly recommend and would absolutely return.

The food was great, however, the service could have been a little better. When we ordered drinks, our waiter forgot my wife’s drink. When we asked for it and she decided to order another drink instead, that was forgotten also. I had to as a third time to get her drink. This location might be a little understaffed, because he was really working hard. It was very busy. Still, great food and we love coming to first watches around Texas!

Food has always been consistent, and service has remained consistent and well above average. I enjoy any place that will leave me the coffee to keep my cup hot, but it won’t stop your server from topping your cup off when they come by, too.

Today my visit at First Watch was a bit busy because it’s Sunday, but the staff handled us with special care while we waited. Cole made sure I stayed hydrated while I waited in the heat. Kassy was an awesome server and even went as far as researching one of their specialty drinks to make sure it met my dietary guidelines. She continuously checked on our table and provided excellent customer service.

Food was incredibly good and healthy. Great presentation and perfect temperature. Our server, Aaron, was enthusiastic and seemed like he loved his job. Great suggestive selling! The manager, Satch(?) was a very kind young lady and checked on us at least 3 times. It was a little loud but lots of fun! Will be back :o)
