Christina was our waitress and she did great for the large group. The BBQ platter was great. Wish they let you sub out sides, but I think they use frozen crinkle fries so I can see where it doesn’t equate. Id rather then get rid rid of the awful fries and have the customer pay $2 more for their overall meal with a side choice. The pickles were good. Others at my table liked the fried pickles, frie okra, and friend green tomatoes. BBQ sauce was good.

I had the oxtails with greens and yams. I was a little disappointed with the oxtails as they tasted watered down with little flavor. My sister ordered the chitlins, which I tasted, and they were much more flavorful. I would probably eat here again because of the vibe and the ambiance.

Our visit was okay. It’s nice that they allow dogs but they set us outside right in the sun. It was so hot and the waitress only visited our table once after taking our order and that was to deliver us our room temperature salad. The drinks never got refilled but she was very nice. I think the food was pretty good in the past, especially the crab legs but the salad was way over priced for what you got.

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly but somehow we were forgotten in the middle of the dining room; no one took our drink order, food order, nothing. We sat for 20 minutes and the baby got fussy so we left, and the manager came out to apologize. I don’t understand how we were only noticed when we left – they had to know we were there to know that we left. Too bad, we were all really hungry.

Stopped in for dinner before a concert. Dark inside. Wasn’t even sure it was open. Several dining rooms are sparse and grubby. The food was just ok, nothing particularly memorable, either positive or negative. The wait staff were just ambling about the place, not motivated or hustling at all. We asked for silverware and were each provided with one plastic fork. There seem to be lots of other good choices in town so suggest you try those places instead of this one.
