A few members of my family and I enjoyed dinner from Jeff’s Curbside for my birthday. Several of us had the Cajun Chicken Pasta, one had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta, and one had the broccoli and cheddar stuffed chicken breast with a twice-baked potato and cole slaw, and there was plenty of garlic bread, mixed garden salad, and mandarin orange and pineapple salad to go around (and around)! To say it was all absolutely divine would be an understatement! After we all had satisfied our hearty appetites, we played a few hands of Rummy and enjoyed lots of laughter and storytelling before serving ourselves dessert — bread pudding topped with choice of caramel or bourbon sauce. This was the first time we’ve gotten food from Jeff’s Curbside and we were very impressed. We got the meatloaf and the Cajun chicken pasta. The meatloaf had a great flavor, was well seasoned, and wasn’t dry at all. The pasta was perfectly cooked, pleasantly spicy and the sauce was very flavorful.

We tried one of each of the 2022 Restaurant Week menu options tonight. I’m saving the two salads for lunch tomorrow, but they looked very fresh. The rest of the food we did have tonight was absolutely amazing! The meatloaf was extremely flavorful and juicy. The Cajun chicken pasta had great flavor and the portion size was VERY generous!! The mashed potatoes were smooth and tasted great. The pan-seared carrots were the perfect texture – soft, but still had good structure. Some slices of garlic bread were the perfect side to our two meals. To round out the night, the bread pudding was an excellent dessert! It seriously tasted like a fancy French toast! I will certainly be a repeat customer!!

Ordered for the first time recently from his new location at 3137 W. Washington St. Charleston, WV. Had the Cajun Chicken Pasta – – huge serving! Also had the Salad with added grilled chicken with housemade dressing. All was delicious! Just call ahead and pick up is easy.

Food is excellent! Cajun Chicken Pasta just like I remembered from Cagney’s. No other pastas compare! If you’ve been craving Cagney’s Cajun Chicken Pasta since they closed years ago, the chef has been found!

I ordered food around 2 pm with an agreed upon pick up time of 5:30. I arrived to the establishment a few minutes prior to 5:30. By 5:50 I still did not have my order and there two other customers still waiting in front of me. The owner did not offer any apologies for my wait and did not reach out prior to my pick up time to let me know he was behind on orders. It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal either except for the fact that the waiting area in the business didn’t even have seating. This service is frankly unacceptable and better communication about the order being late would have gone a long way. I likely won’t be back to this business.
