I’m not a Texas native, been in Houston going on two years now. First time trying this restaurant. I try not to eat fast food often for health and cost reasons. But every blue moon I try something out. Have seen these restaurants everywhere but was never intrigued enough to stop but this time I gave it a shot. Went through drive thru, placed my order. Got home, missing half of it.

The chicken I had was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and juicy, and the seasoning was perfect. It was cooked to perfection and had a nice crispy texture on the outside. Overall, it was an excellent meal.

I love this place. I came here the first month it opened. I also came on May 4, 2018. This place has not changed and the customer service I have received every time has been outstanding! The wait is not too long and the food is delicious! The only issue is that I had a coupon for specific items and I did not receive the chicken the coupon specified. I did however was not told the grilled chicken was out and all they had was fried. But, when I got home with my meal I looked at my meal I was surprised to see that for the inconvenience of not telling me and no availability of the grilled chicken they did however, gave me an extra piece of chicken for the inconvenience. I really liked that! I was hoping to taste the grilled for the first time but I guess it’ll have to be next time. If you want a place to come eat you can eat here and enjoy the friendly staff and the great food!

Ok after reading some reviews, I see it’s not just me lol. Finally tried this place after passing by it on the way home (Fry Rd). Ordered through Uber Eats. The grilled chicken is a big NO! The fried chicken was the Better of the two, and that wasn’t all that great. Mashed potatoes had no flavor, fries (whatever Yuca fries is) were HARD AS A BRICK! This is all my opinion and experience , try it for yourselves, but I don’t think I will be going back. Order was correct, temp of food was ok, uber Eats driver was great.

So if you want chicken breast don’t go here… they NEVER freaking have any!!! I’ve been there 3 times in one week and EVERY TIME they say they are out of breast!!! I’m mean what is that all about!!!! So sad because the chicken is delicious, whenever you can actually get what you want. I’m done with this place. So long Pollo Campero

I guess they’re trying to be like Pollo tropical from Florida. But Pollo tropical has a better recipe and gives you way more food for 8 dollars. And everything in Florida is more expensive so explain that. The one thing the do just like Pollo tropical is the drive thru lady acts like you’re bothering her.

Definitely my favorite fast food chicken restaurant. The way they make their chicken is always so tasty and flavorful! And it comes with yummy sides too. The service was very friendly and overall I had a good experience eating lunch here. And it’s pretty close to home!
