Food was delicious, nice and spicy. My family waited like a 2 hours just to get seated, which was fine but our waiter forgot to place our order, 20 minutes had passed till he placed our order and another 20 for the food to arrive. Waiter was a chill dude though, no tip tho

We got there at 5pm and weren’t seated until 7ish. We were a group of 3. We waited over an hour for our food. My boyfriend had crab and it barely had any seasoning compared to Mira Mesa location. We had to ask for extra. The crab looked pale and so did the potatoes. The food was warm, but the time my food came out his food was cold as hell. Luckily he doesn’t complain about much. My brothers chicken basket took the longest to get out, it was also cold. Our appetizer of fries came AFTER all of our food. Waitress barely came around. I rather drive another 7 minutes and go to the Mira Mesa location. Not to mention I’ve never ever had any stomach issues after eating this food, but I’ve been dealing with what seems like a stomach flu for the last 24 hours. I definitely did not have a good experience. There was no apologizing from the staff considering how everything happened. For $80 this almost feels like a scam.

Honestly, phenomenal service especially given the fact that they are so new. The snow crab was AMAZING as well as the onion rings, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. It only loses a star for 3 reasons. 1: It was impossible for me to reach them by phone as I tried on multiple occasions to reach them prior to my visit. 2: the oysters were actually terrible, and I’ve never said that about oysters before 3:they just opened but were out of 2 different types of crab amongst other items. We were a party of 9. Once seated our drink orders were taken and served fairly quickly. Then our food orders were taken. Five out of nine in our party were served fairly quickly. After approximately 15-20 minutes, the remainder of our party still had not been served their food. We could not locate our waiter and asked to speak with a manager. We were told only half our original order had been submitted and that they would expedite the rest of the order. Half our group finally received their food order while the other half were finishing theirs. The manager did provide us a 20% credit on the bill.

I was there for the grand opening, and although there were a lot of people, the food came out fairly quickly. Food was as delicious as always. The boiling crab always brings it. And even though they were swamped, many waiters and waitresses always came and checked on us. People need to understand that they’re a new establishment and need to work out all the kinks. Let’s give them a chance to flourish instead of people trying to shut them down. Overall, I can’t wait to come back again and again!!

Party of 4. We joined the Yelp waitlist, which made or wait time feel short. King crab, snow crab, crawfish, shrimp, and catfish were delicious. Our server was great, and the overall price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
