Our waiter was great! The food came out cold and I am pretty sure the walls had more seasoning than the food. We were not offered to even have the food heated up. I could understand if they were busy, but we were 1 of 2 tables and they had plenty of staff. I remember now why I haven’t been back since the first time 5 years ago. Kudos to our waiter who was sent to the line of fire, the manager never even showed his face…

Richard and his staff have done a jammed up job improving this place, the food is worth the cost (finally!!) The service with Matt was exceptional! I love that the staff all worked together to ensure the guest’s needs are met, quickly! I wish I had gotten the young lady’s name too, but she’s always there and a pleasure as well. This was our 2nd time back and my baby loves to go for the “chicken wing” tenders while Mama enjoys the real deal boneless wings. The burger is also delicious, with a great flavor. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s time to give then a chance again! You won’t be disappointed

Only reason I am giving them two stars is because the server and cooks were super friendly. Cooks came out to watch Football with us… The lady Manager was rude, she yelled at someone while she was in the expo window, we were sitting in the booth in front of the window, the cooks just looked at us. He knew we heard her by the look on our faces. We all ordered sandwiches, the burgers were horrible. Took two bites and pushed them away. We did eat the fries. Even my 8 year old grandson said his was bad. Server asked why we didn’t eat them and we told him they were not good. Manager heard us because she looked over and looked down at them on our plates. I am not writing this to get a free meal. Just a warning not to order the burgers…

Wish I read some reviews before trying it out. We live 5 minutes from here and was really looking for a good place to dine often. Staff was inviting, but food was very sub par honestly. Don’t bother ordering the shrimp quesadilla for $13 more like $5 kid item. Counted 5 shrimp in a whole adult dinner with over half just a tortilla shell, worst I have ever seen. Also 45 minute wait on the main course. Other food was bar quality. Not worth the money or experience. Needs a face-lift on the food and property. There will not be a next time unfortunately.

The staff was very welcoming. As this was our first time visiting Creek Life, I had to take a few minutes to review and relay the menu. We ordered the fried pickles, cheeseburger and a shrimp po boy. The wait time as a walk in was too terribly long and the staff was nice enough to let us have refills while we waited. The food was very tasty and the shrimp po boy was the best I”v had in a while.

We love Creek Life! Close to our neighborhood. We eat there or take out 2-3 times a month. Family business and they work hard! Their basic burger is my favorite. Always HOT and delicious! My husband loves the fried flounder basket. Nice atmosphere to eat in. Call in orders are always ready and correct. We usually eat early, 4-5 pm. Not too busy at that time. One time we ate at 7 pm and they were very busy and food took a little while, but we enjoyed the baseball games on TV while we waited. The staff is very friendly. It is so nice to have a great place to get good food close by.

A year later and I’m still giving this place 2 stars. It’s really sad because it could be so much better! It is our local joint and I would love to be able to hang out there more often, but it needs a lot of work! They’ve put in a beautiful bar to the side of the dining area, but it’s completely cut off and makes you feel like you’re in a little hole. The dining side is extremely boring with no music or TVs or anything. They need to take out the wall and make it one big restaurant! It would increase the atmosphere and make it more inviting. The next thing they need to do is pay attention to their bathrooms! The women’s restroom has two stalls and one was broken. The only light in the bathroom is pink! You can barely see anything in there! Lake Asbury needs a restaurant like this to be successful, but if things aren’t done soon I’m afraid it won’t be! The food is great and the people who work there are friendly! Only the atmosphere is what’s bringing it down!!
