We went here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We sat in a booth in the bar area. We ordered fried mushrooms, a mushroom Swiss burger and a cheeseburger. The portion sizes are large and the food was fresh and tasted great. I would have given 5 stars but the service was very inattentive. Our waitress didn’t stop back by to check if we needed anything so We had to constantly wave someone down when we wanted another beer or mustard and Mayo. We will definitely go there again because the food was so good.

First time we went and it was a great experience. Service was nice and friendly, and the food was very tasty. We only had $20 to spend and that’s exactly what we paid for two burgers (KSG burger and 1/2 Ib burger) and one drink (Sweet Tea). Definitely will be returning to try more from the menu!

We were passing through Alice and was looking for a place for a late lunch. I was craving a fried chicken sandwich and wife wanted a burger. I must say this place was better than my expectations. The food was fresh. My CFC sandwich was HUGE, a bit greasy but very good. The wife got a KSG burger (1/3#) and she loved it. Hand batter onion rings were very good. Service was good and very friendly. Price for portion size was excellent. I saw one of the Chicken fried steaks go past and it looked pretty large. Highly recommend this place.

BEWARE EATING HERE. Came to eat here on mother’s day. We saw our waitress only twice. Waited 2 hours for our food. The owner lady was really unprofessional and rude. Then come to find out Monday that the waitress tried to get away with $17 tip that we did not add on to the debit card we used. This place is a scam and not even worth the wait for the food. If you want mediocre food with dishonest staff, this is the place for you.

Well, I wanted to say wow and give 5 stars but not for this visit 03/01/23. I had a friend visiting from out of town and I could not wait to take her here to eat the food and service are always so amazing. Not today. The service was extremely slow (visited at 1230pm). Had to flag down other wait staff to get extra condiments and refill our tea. I ordered the lunch special which was meat loaf huge serving I was quite excited…but everything was cold. When I brought it to the attention of the waitress she told me of course because they make it in the morning and it sets there all day. She did offer to go heat it up for me but at that point I told her I could just take it home and warm it up in my own microwave. On a good note the meat loaf and the scalloped potatoes were very delicious. When served warm. Since my guest’s chicken fried steak was extremely hot – we figured her baked potato and my meatloaf special was setting on the shelf waiting chillin while her chicken fried steak was being to cooked.
