APRIL KRANKOSKIE
This place is serving a seafood buffet on Friday night for all you can eat through Good Friday from. 4:30-7:30 P.M. it was packed so bad that if you don’t make reservations, you probably won’t get a seat unless you’re lucky. The food was great, and they managed to keep refilling the buffet without too long of a waiting period. Other than a minor hiccup on my reservations, it is well worth the crowd.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years now. I went tonight for dinner with my family and our server Tiffany was amazing the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. She never let our drinks run empty. She took our order quickly and accurately I ordered the ham pot pie with a side salad and french fries. The ham pot pie was like my grandmother would have made. The lettuce and vegetables in the salad were crisp and delicious. I also have the beef and vegetable soup which was delectable and some of the best beef and vegetable soup I have had ever. This is definitely one of the best family-owned restaurants in the area if you’re passing through you should definitely stop you will not have a bad experience

It’s was decent. It was a little loud in there, but that’s not their fault. There was a breakfast buffet for $13.50 and the second one was half off. That would have been a decent deal if I would have done that. I did get creame chipped beef over toast, or the “old timer brakfast” as it’s called on their menu. I didn’t care too much for the gravy. I’m not sure what was wrong with it, I’ve just had better. Now, the bacon was thick and delicious. The service was really good, and we didn’t wait long for anything. The server made sure we always had a full drink. I’d definitely go again, but next time we will go a little earlier to try and beat the crowd.

Went for fish fry on Friday we were seated in middle of traffic to all you can eat buffet. Not a comfortable spot to be seated but food is always great especially for price. We drive 45 minutes (one way) to get there.

This has been a favorite restaurant of mine for over 50 years and I never mind driving the 40 to 50 miles from Pottsville PA to enjoy my fave dish that being their famous chicken and waffles meal with a loaf of their homemade bread. They also have their famous buffet meals on Saturdays and Sundays

Great service. Friendly staff. I had the Cowboy Burger with a side of bbq fries for dinner. It was delicious. Went for the Blueberry cobbler cheesecake for desert. Deliciousness!!
