When entering the inside it has a really cute picture taking vibe. I do like that all the foods on menu have a picture of what it looks like so you can expect that to be the food you ordered. The service was nice the server was very attentive to us. Unfortunately the flavor of the food was not what I expected it to be. I have had this type of food before and there is one in dc on 14th st so my expectations were high thinking the flavor was good as that one but I was let down. First they took my plate as the wrong order I asked for the #1 desayuno típico with the veggies in egg. I was given the #5 with steak and no veggies. The server was quick to fix the egg but told me the pricing is the same so I can leave the meat which I did not eat since it had a lot of fat. The beans tasted as if they were taking from the bottom end pot and had burnt flavor IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. Moving to the baleadas you will need to add a bit of salt to have it flavored. My son ordered a cheese pupusa which I did not try but looked full and cheesy. Would I return, sorry to say this but no. If they changed the person cooking this then yes. Being honest and open leads to others not being mislead on what they get to eat. If you want to give it a shot try it out! FYI they charge you on your bill gratuity just in case you miss it.

We called 30 min before closing to order our food. But when we got there they still let us eat it inside. The food was good. The lady still helped us with whatever we needed.

Worst customer service ever!!!! Please don’t waste your time and money going to this place , I called to place an order for pick up, they said it was going to be ready in 15 minutes, I arrived to pick up and they said my order is not ready and they had an attitude so this was my last time here

Friendly staff but I wouldn’t recommend their food. This past weekend I order some steake ribs but when I got my food it had a smell like it was going bad. I took a couple of bites and the taste was definitely not good at all. The potatoe salad was definitely bad and same thing with the steak. I couldn’t enjoy my meal. It was a waste.

First time visiting this restaurant yesterday. We ordered fish and shrimp tacos. They were fresh and so delicious, we went back later the same day and tried chicken and beef tacos along with more shrimp tacos. And, the service was great, very friendly. Covid protocols were in place as well.

This restaurant just recently opened, and it awkwardly feels like a new business, but WOW the food is really good. Don’t let the sparse 2nd hand furniture turn you away. Someone in the kitchen knows how to cook! They have prepared food if you are in a hurry, or you can order off the menu. The chicken is super tasty, and the black beans are excellent. They fry the yucca super crispy and fresh. It was terrible timing for them to open during the shutdown, but I hope that they make it because they are so close to our home in Beltsville. I plan to return!

Wanted to try this place down the street from where we live. Chicken was not charbroiled. It was placed in a pan and fried. It came with two sides…literally like 10 fries and 8 yucca. Yes, I counted them. Yuca had NO flavor at all. Sardi’s is so much better. Quesadillas were coming apart. The purpose of the cheese is so that the sides stick together. These fell apart as you grabbed them. I didn’t taste the pupusas but my hubby said that was the only good thing. Staff was cool but food def thumbs down. Will not be going back there. I rather pay extra and go to El Sombrerito down the street.
