Visiting from NC, we had a group of 9 people. This is a hoppin restaurant, so it can be a little loud with the liveliness of the life happening inside- but I personally like that- people celebrating birthdays and enjoying each other’s company. The meal was one of the best of my life. It was really hard to choose what to get because everything sounded great. I had the fried green tomatoes (there were 7 I think?), braised beef with grits (the picture doesn’t do it justice), a biscuit with honey drizzle, and the chocolate chip skillet with ice cream. Other friends had the chicken and waffles, the salmon, the shrimp, and a variety of things, which everyone said was amazing. The only thing people were lackluster on were the cocktails, but I can’t speak to that cause I’m just not a drinker. I would highly recommend this restaurant based on the food.. and we had a great server who was very friendly and attentive even though we could tell he was slammed with large parties. So patience may be needed 🙂

Where do I start……Ranked #1 restaurant while in Louisville. If you want the taste of Soul Food, this is the place. The Mac and Cheese is to die for. The fried ribs slid off the bones. Chicken and waffles… awesome. Fish fried to perfection

Me and my sisters can in From Cincinnati for the weekend looked you all up on tic tok looked like a nice place to eat. We had some starters fried green tomatoes, fried mushrooms, shrimp , collard dip patron tower , the main dishes we had where Cornish hen , two of these dishes and one salmon pasta and the other one was stuffed pasta it was running and salty when I went time eat it my sister had uncooked Cornish hen. We asked for the manager and we had been told by the waiter and manager their policy was no food could be removed from the table. Once we got it. So we spent over 300 on dinner. For food we didn’t even get to enjoy. We thought this was a little crazy you all should have a better way to accommodate your guest when they come in to eat.

We loved Dasha Barbour!! We called before hand to see if we were able to come because we heard that it was a bar/club as well as restaurant but you’ll be pleased to know they’re separate. Note that I have a baby I wouldn’t to be sure it was just friendly.

What a wonderful experience. The best soul food in Louisville, hands down. No salt/ pepper or hot sauce needed for the fish/ wings. Both were seasoned to perfection… don’t get me started on the Mac Didn’t get a drink, but will do next time.

Everything was delicious. The drinks weren’t too sweet. I ordered the cotton candy martini. My husband had an old fashioned and said it was one of the best he’s had. Also, the sides are shareable and is a la carte style. Honestly, everything on the menu is pretty much shareable. I suggest each person order different items off the menu and sharing it all.

This was our first time coming to Dasha Barbour’s. The food was good. Although I enjoyed the crab cakes, for $25 they were VERY SMALL. In fact when they brought them out I initially thought they were cheddar biscuits. The crab cakes didn’t come with sides so I ordered corn bread, collards and macaroni and cheese ala carte. Not a good idea because the sides they brought out were not traditional small sides but enough for 2-3 people. Our server was nice and very friendly however since we told her it was our first time coming there I feel like she should have explained that with tickets over $75 the gratuity is already included. They give you this option to do 1-4%…. which threw me off so I added an additional $15 when my tip had already been included. I was going to have them make an adjustment but figured maybe it was meant for me to over tip her. She did say that “a lot of people” make that mistake about not realizing the tip is already included in the final cost….so in my humble opinion if they know this is an issue they should make efforts to communicate that more clearly to the customer. We would go back but we would probably try another soul food restaurant in the area before going back. On a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 7.

The food was scrumpdiliumptiouss. I ordered the catfish with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. The catfish was fried a little too hard but still good. I’ve always disliked pecans in my sweet potatoes but it was so good I was 6 bites in before I even noticed it lol. Collard greens were phenomenal. Wish I would have ordered them myself. Our server was amazing. He was so polite and helpful and just overall offered amazing service. Im upset that I forgot his name… maybe Dre. He’d only been there about a week but it seemed like he had several years of experience under his belt. Ambiance was so great, I had to ask if it was a dress code when I walked in….My mom is a tiny eater and a huge food critique… she cleaned her plate (Fried chicken) was staring me down for mine. My only critique would be for a couple of the girls.. maybe smile more instead of staring . Other than that amazing experience

this was my second time at this restaurant, so I was pretty excited to go back and bring first timers with me. My reservation was for 6:45, I was seated at 6:57. I did not receive my food until 8:15. I ordered the lobster and shrimp which was very good after I had to send it back because it came out cold. me and three others were there celebrating a birthday so we all had drinks, after we paid. one of us was finishing our drink and a waiter that was not ours came over and told us that we had to leave because another party was waiting on us even though we had just got the drink. this is a contrast from my first experience. it makes me not want to go back or just to order out.
