I am very disappointed with Ruchi. I have been liking there orders but when I ordered parathas from them. They gave me a piece of aloo parathas and Paneer parathas for $15 and with no sauce at all? How would a piece of paratha would cost $7.5? I am hungry, waited more than 30 minutes and get two pieces of paratha for $15!!! There menu should clearly say it will $5 for a one tiny piece. It’s totally misleading.

We have ordered some food in this restaurant. It was a party. And after eating the food 2 of the people got food poisoning. They had fewer, vomiting and motions. While eating we could feel that the chicken was stale and turned to black color inside. We have ordered different items but everything is tasteless and looks the same , both Biryanis and starters.

This place is a to-go spot in the back of the gas station. Go in confidently because It’s GOOD! I got a veg puff (in the front case warmer to the right), goat biryani (I asked for everything mild but this had my nose running and I started sweating, not sure what happened but it was still good), Indochina veg noodles (this was mild and is also delicious), and butter chicken (mild and delicious.) Will definitely return!

They have given us rotten food, literally rotten chicken puffs. Never seen such audacity, i hope this establishment is checked by officials for serving unsafe food to customers and taken action. I’ve ordered here a few times and the last few times food quality was degrading until yesterday when they gave me chicken puff that smelled so bad. That was the last straw. Indian restaurants in Tampa are horrible in general but to blatantly serve spoiled food is a new low. Despicable and shame on you.

I have been here many times and order lunch to-go from here about 3x a week. The food is always delicious, the Biryani & Egg puffs is what I always look forward to. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants around Tampa but this one is my favorite.

Biryani was decent but everything else I got was tasteless – edible but just lacking in flavor. The naan they serve is the frozen Deep naan, you can get a pack of 5 from an Indian grocery store for the same price they sell each naan for. Given the presence of other Indian restaurants in the area like Raaga, Taaza, Desi Flavors, Minerva, they will struggle to be successful. I will not be returning.

We had vijayawada family biryani with chilli chicken appetizer. We asked for spicy but biryani was not at all spicy and man that chilli chicken was supposed to be spicy among the appetizers, and its weirdly sweet. I wanted to have biryani badly and this killed my interest totally.

Ruchi Indian Kitchen is located inside a gas station, you can see boards indicating that. They don’t have dine-in, just order pick ups. We ordered Vijaywada Boneless Chicken Biryani, a Veg Manchurian gravy and Paneer 65. The food was good but slightly oily. The packing could’ve been better since the oil was leaking from it. But, it’s much more easy on the pocket as compared to other Indian restaurants around. Overall, enjoyed the food.

I actually got to taste Ruchi’s food and service at a friends house warming function, Ruchi was catering at the function. There was Papri Chat as appetizer, Gobi Manchurian , Biriyani , 3 varieties of veg curries , everything upto mark , felt very delicious and fulfilling, I would definitely recommend them . Also their staffs were very professional, patient and polite. They definitely deserve 5 stars
