Really good steak, very tender and perfectly cooked. The waitress seemed shy or was just awful: gave me my check, said thank you and ran. I wanted dessert. Oh well, perhaps she knew I didnt really need it.

Haven’t been there in a few years. The place is still in need of updates. Still dark and doesn’t smell clean. Service was good, chicken fried steak was bad. It was not hot and crispy, almost as if it had been made earlier and then reheated. Also the gravy was bland and not hot. Went on a Saturday night at about 7pm, and the place wasn’t half full. The place probably used to be good at one time.

The food was decent and decently priced. If you’ve ended up reading this your probably deciding between the two McBrides in Wichita Falls. I was lucky enough to eat at each back to back nights. To put it bluntly the other one has better food. However, you will pay a bit more for that. If you’re going out on a week night this one will satisfy. If you’re taking your girl or guy out for a nice dinner, the other one. I’m not bashing this one and I hate to compare, but I kind of feel like I have to.

Fairly decent cuts of beef. The lunch special is definitely the way to go if you are looking to save a few bucks. It is unassuming from the outside, but definitely has that “ranch” feel on the inside. Service was good, though they could work on their cleanliness. Table and chairs were both rather sticky for the first customers of the afternoon.
