The food was fantastic. You must try the eggplant caponata..such delicious flavor!!. The meatballs are also really great. We had the creste di gallo and fusilli gigante and enjoyed both. Our waitress Vivian was spectacular. The restaurant was super busy but she was so calm and took great care of us. Definitely make a reservation before hand!

Ambience, food, and bar seating was exceptional. I would highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We were lucky to get bar top seating for this dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pasta made us want to order another dish. Go if you can! You won’t want to miss out

We thoroughly enjoyed eating in the patio area, lovely atmosphere… Duck our waiter was relaxed and laidback, making us feel at ease but competent and extremely sharp in his mastery of the menu— he gave us clear and detailed impressions of what to expect with the dishes we were curious to try…. Demonstrating an obvious love of the menu, Italian food, and this lovely little trattoria. Favorites include the fire-roasted broccolini, which has a subtle rainbow of flavors brought out by the wood fire grill, the eggplant caponata— out of this world, *gave me chill bumps* sensual level good! And the pastas Creste di Gallo and Spaghetti were both so light, with masterfully balanced flavors like mint, or the wild mushrooms in the spaghetti.

This place makes me wish I were a local because I would eat here at least weekly. Oh my word- it was nothing short of excellent! The Rye Cavatelli was DELICIOUS; the sauce for this elk bolognese dish was among the best I’ve had. The cocktails were unique and equally as great as the food. Of course we had to splurge on gelato for dessert and it was very tasty. Great ambience- romantic, yet casual. Our server, Trevor, was wonderful- very attentive and very kind. If it was possible to give more than five stars I would!
