We purchased dinner on opening day. We called our order for take-out which was a Clam Strip basket, Perch basket, Chicken Taco, Beef Taco, Zuchinni Strips and Mushrooms. Prices were fair for the quality and amount served. Plenty of sauces provided to go with each item, the food was hot when picked up and everything tasted great. The mushrooms were large and juicy and the batter they use is fabulous. The staff were smiling and genuinely friendly on the phone and in person. There are a few tables to sit inside.

I was very pleased with the fried fish. Such a magnificent selection! The batter was very good and crispy. The cod I got was thick and flaky. This is one of those small town hidden gems. The atmosphere is super casual, best for takeout but they have tables and chairs if you wish to dine in- One of those places where you just dig in to your hot fried food and go on about your business.

Freda is awesome. Very good service and will go out of the way to help you enjoy your food and experience. We had a very large order and they were pretty quick. Gator was fantastic and a great selection on sauces.

Found this little spot online and after reading reviews decided to give it a try. I went to the location and placed my to-go order and it was ready in just over 15 min. Staff was very nice and food was amazing. We tried the catfish, onion rings, walleye, hush puppies, fried pickle spears and shrimp. If we are ever in the area again will definitely be coming back.

Huge portions for a reasonable price. Had to wait for the food coma to pass before I could write this review. We had the lake perch and it was excellent. The fried mushrooms were good as well as was the portion size. Mushrooms are massive and the breading is quite good. Service was excellent given how busy they were. Very good experience.

I love this place. The staff is amazing and friendly. Amazing fresh fish fried right in front of you, and the homemade tarter sauce is great. If I had one complaint it would be the fries come underseasoned, but you can easily add some yourself. This is my favorite spot for takeout in the area for sure. 10/10 would recommend!

Was ok but not one of better visits. The manager or whoever she was seemed to be having a bad nite. Not too nice to customers and real rude to the young employee that was just trying to do things right. Granted we went late around 7 so I’m sure they had a busy long day. As they were out of alot of food. Our dinners were not as good as it all usually is but was ok. Hope it gets better for them there

Freda’s is great!! Awesome prices and a lot of food for that price!! We love the Lake Perch! Son loves the catfish! Check out their daily specials when you call too. Always some new goodies…and they just added specialty burgers to their menu. They also have mexican items!! Give them a try…you won’t be disappointed!! We always have leftovers too!!
