Attended the first Drag Brunch at 2nd Street Depot. The show was amazing, fun, inclusive, silly, and a great show and brunch. It was so fun to see more inclusive entertainment come to Hastings! I would definitely return not only for a brunch but their regular bar.

Just tried to go eat some corned beef and cabbage today on St. Patty’s Day, sat down with my family, and not once did someone come acknowledge us. I understand when it’s busy like it was, so I get that but someone walked past us 3-4 times and not even a simple, “hi, someone will be with you shortly.” Ignored the whole time for about 15-20 minutes.

If you’re looking for swanky upscale you’d best skip this diamond in the rough, if you’re in the mood for a dive with stellar karaoke on the often and beers cheaper than your Uber home you’re definitely in luck. I give it a 4 star only because I’ve yet to see a 5 star dive. If I was you I’d check it out, this place is as true as David’s rock and it fears no beast nor man. Fetch-ya a true grit bar 😉 with a decent beer selection.
