This was by far the worst place I have ever eaten. The food was cold when it was put on the bar! It was supposed to be fresh. We had been at the West Virginia fair all day and had not ate. We paid $51.00 to eat, because we were starving. The waitress was very nice. I am a buffet cook, and I understand the dynamics of fresh food. This restaurant obviously does not get audited. This is a serious health risk.

Upon arriving the waitress instead of greeting us [we guessed she and another employee had a disagreement on something] and said, “I guess she can’t speak English, how many?” Seriously? Even my daughter said how rude that was. We then were seated. Took about 5 minutes to get a drink order then took 2 trips for her to get our drinks. Instead of a tray carry she carried them by hand and told me to “Grab it before it spills all over you!” Good thing it didn’t or we would have had a problem. She was insanely rude but come along another waitress who was super nice and helped refill and get our food while to other stood and gossiped. The bar had hardly anything on it. Tables were so sticky even my drink and plate both got stuck to it. Didn’t have any rolls until we were about to leave. I most definitely will not return and the amount we paid for the bar was absolutely ridiculous! I used to work at Western Sizzlin’ when there was one in Christiansburg. With that expectation in mind and then getting there and seen what we saw, we were blown away!! I do NOT recommend eating there unless all other options aren’t available. Even then I’d settle for a PB&J sandwich…

NEVER again. The salad bar was sloppy/messy, the hot food buffet was sloppy with food dribbles down the front. The kitchen staff should NOT have been working with food the way their hair & tshirts looked. HAIRNETS if not requiring guys to control their hair!!! Has gone WAY downhill in the 8 years we have lived here & eaten there.

They now appear to be locally owned. They have redone main dining area to be smaller with much reduced salad and veg bar.

I got the bar and my husband got a ribeye steak. The only good thing on the bar was the fried chicken and his ribeye had more fat and hard pieces then meat he could eat.

Food was really good. Country music on the juke box that I haven’t heard since I was a teenager. Needed that after a hard day working off the back of the bass tracker.

They have really downsized since the last time I’ve been here. The buffet food was stale and bland and there is only 1 small buffet now. The only redeeming the thing is the very kind waitresses.
