If I could give no stars I would. The one star is for the atmosphere, family friendly and nice surroundings. Now to the food: it was almost inedible. The one meal was obviously boiled chicken with ham coldcuts and very watery. Beuound watery. Not good. My burger was very average with what seemed like store bought barbq sauce. The fried breaded mushrooms were disgusting. When I bit into it it bursted with water. No flavor at all. We told the waitress who was apologetic, but nothing was done beyond apologizing. At least the middlesworth chips I got with my burger were good. Never again. Not good. I’ll probably be popping tums tonight.

Visiting Jim Thorpe, Pa and found this wonderful place 10 minutes from our cabin. Beautiful decor with friendly staff and great ambiance. Service was quick portions were generous. The bread was warm, soft, and delicious. Our appetizer of Mussels Marina was nothing short of fantastic with a flavorful Marina sauce. I had the Veal Marsala with Angel Hair pasta and it was good. My wife enjoyed a T-bone steak cook medium with baked potato and seasoned mixed vegetables. She loved it! Would definitely recommend.

Wife and I both ordered a cocktail only to find out they were out of wine and whiskey. We both then had to order a beer. The restaurant was freezing so we moved outside. Our calamari appetizer was the absolute worst ever. It had zero flavor and it was pure rubber and you literally could not eat it. My biggest regret of the event was paying for that. THEN after waiting for over a hour our dinner arrived. The server just put our food down and disappeared. My meal was not what o ordered. My wife was done eating and I still had no meal. We left and will never return. The worst night out in a very long time.

Beautifully decorated but that’s about it. Fettuccini Alfredo was watery and flavorless, veal parmesan was tough and marinara was basically just tomato sauce. My MIL had the bacon cheesesteak and said that was good, but it came with an bag of chips?? And to top it off, our waitress disappeared after delivering our entrees and we turn around to her sitting at the bar with a cocktail! We had to yell to get her attention. They need to condense the menu and do a few things really well; menu was overwhelmingly large – probably why the food was lacking.

Honestly very disappointed. I usually always enjoy the food I get from here, not this time. Spent $23 for mushroom raviolis & it came with 4 ravioli in it. Also the mushrooms & the meat were so undercooked & the sauce was so bitter tasting. Also the Italian salad dressing tasted of nothing but pepper & oil. Don’t think I’ll be spending my money here again.

The service was great, food was amazing! We had arancini, the blt roasted gnocchi, an Asian shrimp wrap and a chicken panini. It was all amazing and then the desert came out. Lemoncello marscapone cake and tiramisu. The tiramisu was just as expected, and the lemoncello cake was out of this world. Beautiful presentation on everything but I only got pictures of dessert!

I am in town staying at the Lakewood Park Campground and ordered from Basile’s. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time . Delivery was prompt and I can’t express enough how wonderful the food is. A special thank you to the young lady that delivered my meal. Very courteous and called me to let me know she was on her way.

Dad and I had a nice lunch here today. He got a turkey club and I got a turkey club wrap plus we got hoagies and a boli to go. All of the food was delicious,the staff were very friendly,the restaurant was clean and had nice decor. We will definitely go back again.
