This place was a really good hot dog drive through. My mom got a Hebrew national with Mustard and sauerkraut and she said it was one of the best ones she has had. I got a Turkey dog with Ketchup, Mayo, Lettuce, and a gluten free Bun. The Bun was not the best but it still tasted really nice. Their Desserts look really good as well. My mom also got a canoli but she said it was a bit hard for her.

I recently called ahead to order a to-go meal from Mad Dog Hot Dog in Venice, Florida. It was my first time dining at this spot, and though I wasn’t familiar with the menu, the lady who took my call was patient and friendly despite them being busy. She went over the options with me to help me understand how to order vegan options. She didn’t provide me with a total, but she mentioned it would take about 20 minutes, which was no problem for me. I headed to the location, which was a small spot with minimal outdoor seating, and noticed that the drive-through on both sides seemed to be popular.

Yummy! The employees here are just a sweet as the ones at Mad Salads! I’d never been here, she helped me decide which dog I might want. I got meat chili on top, wow was it good! Don’t blink or you’ll miss the turn into the drive thru. Highly recommend!

Drive up Hot dog Stand. There is outdoor seating in the rear. I eat here fairly often. Lots of different Hot dog & sausage options. My favorite is the Hawaiian Ripper hot dog. I love their cole slaw & b/w cookie too. A hidden gem in South Venice!

Mad Dogs was an awesome place to stop for lunch on our way home. It was really busy, so we had to wait a little bit to get our food but it is made fresh to order, so everything was hot and delicious.

This was our first time here! The girl that took our order did an outstanding job. She was very helpful, quick, super polite, and informative. The food was great. The cooks also did a great job the food was made to the top and well laid out. They also moved a lot costumers in and out fast. Thank you!
