Keep in mind, it’s bar food! The wings were good! I’d recommend getting more creative with flavors and dips because you have a good thing going there! The fries were okay, I wish I got the loaded ones to make a proper judgement. The drinks were extremely sweet and sugary. I feel like some more soju cocktail options that are less sweet would be amazing. Maybe some house-made yakult soju (please lol). I’d come back to try the tteokbokki. It was a slow week night, so it was staffed appropriately and service was as attentive as needed.

I ordered the Korean corn dog and steak fries. It was delicious! The cheese pull from the corn dog with that donut like dough, sugar, ketchup and mustard was THE BOMB, it did not disappoint. The sauce on the fries was amazing, the crisp and flavor of the fry was amazing. Definitely will be back!

Was a loyal customer for the summer I loved the sweet and spicy wings but idk if the chef changed but the last visit two weeks ago was terrible. The service was always lacking. But the wings were a total disappointment, dry , overcooked and barely had suace like it used too not to mention it was dry and spicy versus the usual juicy & sweet and spicy. Never going back after that , so disappointing 🙁

The wife and I went to Merge for dinner tonight. Did small plates and wings. Pictured are the Umami Bombs (Fried mushrooms stuffed with beef, Korean BBQ sauce, and teriyaki and topped w/ spicy mayo), the Jalapeno Cheddar Pepper Jack Corn Dog, and Double Fried Wings in Sweet & Spicy Gochujang sauce.

We are in town for a concert and we’re trying to decide where to eat. We put some restaurant names in a bowl and picked. Merge was picked and it did not disappoint. I got a eastender for a cocktail. It’s Green grape Soju, yuzu marmalade, fresh lemon juice, agave and soda. It was a bit on the sour side but delicious. We got the loaded fries. This is seasoned Fries topped with grilled beef bulgogi, lime crema, sweet and spicy sauce. The fries were cooked perfectly. They were able to remain crunchy with the sweet and spicy sauce on them. That sweet and spicy sauce was amazing. Great flavor. We got the large wings. These were fried to perfection wings with soy garlic and more of that sweet spicy sauce. I couldn’t stop eating them. . Crunchy and flavorful. We also had the cheese corn dog and the jalapeño corn dog. Great flavor and great crunch. I also tried the beef bulgogi. Also extremely flavorful. The umami bombs had a great teriyaki and spicy mayonnaise sauce that complimented the Korean bbq sauce. The service was topnotch and the food was fun and delicious.

My partner and I went for a date today because we went last year for my birthday and it was amazing, but over the past year their service and food quality has apparently gone downhill quite a bit. My partner got the chicken sandwich, which had the smallest piece of chicken in it, and tasted like it was heated up leftovers from the day before. It wasn’t hot, the bread was hard and it looked like they just threw cheese on it to make it look fresh. I had the Tteok Bokki which was as good as last time, but there were a lot of flies and gnats flying around which is sometimes out of their control, but still a nuisance. The server didn’t check on us once, we waited 15 minutes for him to come over to ask for a takeout container, when he was just standing behind the bar on his phone the whole time. We had to go to the bar to pay, we don’t think we’ll be coming again, it’s sad that this establishment has gone so far downhill since last year.

I used to live merge until my last visit my fries were completely cold. My two Korean hot dogs were Luke warm and barely had a cheese pull. Not enough sugar either.

Went for dinner with a group of 6 on a Friday night and we were seated almost immediately. Just walking in, the space was clean and had a cool vibe to it. The server was polite and since it was our first time they made sure to throughly go through the menu. We ordered a some small plates to share with the table and had their Korean fried chicken wings. Everything we ordered came out with perfect timing. We had time to sit and enjoy our small plates before our entrees came out. We never felt rushed after dinner and when the check came the server was able to split our check 3 ways- which we asked to do right when we ordered to avoid messy check splitting at the end. Overall, it was a great experience dining and Merge and I can’t wait to go back again.

Merge is a fusion Korean Food restaurant. We ordered the Popcorn Chicken, Dubokki, Sweet & Spicy Wings, Cheese Corn Dog and a side of Kimchi. Overall the food was acceptable. I do want to mention that the pop corn chicken was very crispy which made it harder for a young child to consume but it taste good. The Dubokki was pretty watered down, not like the thicker sauce we are used to at Authentic Korean restaurants. The Sweet & Spicy wing was just right but definitely on the sweet side if you like it…There were some fruit flies flying around our table which was a little bit irritating but this is probably because of the patio doors that they can and likely propped open from time to time. The Cheese Corn Dog was good and the cheese inside the dog was plentiful. All food was fresh and made to order. Waitress was good and attentive to us while we were there.

I ordered cheese curds, fried veggie dumplings, and a medium Korean fried chicken platter with sweet & spicy and Louisiana dry rub, and a beef bulgogi rice bowl. The cheese curbs would have been better if the breading was a lot crispier but the kimchi ranch saved it. The veggie dumplings were delicious with the sauce, the beef bulgogi bowl was super chewy I wasn’t even table to swallow it at all. The wings were good on the downside a few were pink in the middle but overall the sauces and the dipping kimchi ranch was delicious as well.
