A must. Best food I had in Maine during a one week family trip. The kitchen knows what they are doing – THEY. ARE. NAILING. IT. I ordered the Lobster spring rolls, scallops, and blueberry pie. All were absolutely flawless. The only critique I have is regarding the extremely slow service. It took forever to receive the simple things like water and drinks. Excellent building and space with great atmosphere. Good selection in music and volume. The staff were friendly and shared the wifi with us. We were lucky to slip in a party of 8, but a reservation would be wise.

Our waitress, Lindsay I believe her name was, was great! The food was good, though my grandmother was kinda upset on how much she paid for adding lobster ($11) for how much lobster they added (I have included a picture). They had some vegetarian options which is great! The food was really good as I mentioned, and the atmosphere was nice! Also, for coffee folks, just want to let you know the cappuccino is Nespresso style and counter milk frother (I expected nothing less, just wanted to let you know). It was nice to go and eat once while on vacation, but definitely not somewhere affordable for average visits.

Great place to eat. Loved everything we got. We got the seared Ahi tuna ap and it was delightful. My husband said his scallops were the best he ever had. My daughter enjoyed her Impossible burger and my son enjoyed his beef burger. I had the Truffle ravioli with lobster and it was absolutely delicious. A little more of the sauce would have made it even better, but it was great anyway. Service was a little slow, but not terrible. I think we had a new server and that may be why. She was otherwise very pleasant and other staff assisted happily. The atmosphere was lovely.

As a visitor to Maine, every part of the dining experience is new. Upon entering, I could tell that this was a place that valued quality. The decor is very well designed and the open air environment, very welcoming. The rest of our experience exceeded our expectations and we left on our last night in town with a satisfaction rare these days. Special thanks to our waitress Lindsay P. She was attentive, professional and very cordial. The food was great, too. I highly recommend!!

I recently dined at Treehouse Seaside Grill and had an experience that was a mix of highs and lows. The food, while decent, left me with the feeling that it had the potential to be much better. The wine had an unexpectedly sour taste, which was a letdown. Of course, wine preferences are subjective, but this particular choice missed the mark for me.

I’ll start off with saying, I know this place is new, I understand the service industry is suffering, I myself am a supervisor at a popular seafood restaurant in a high tourist area. That being said, I am disappointed I wasn’t even able to try the food. I made reservations for 6 pm for a table for 2, with an ocean view, was told that would be possible (I made this reservation a day in advance). Waiting room was packed on arrival, and 4 people were sat before us (and didn’t have a reservation). I was told a table would be ready in 20 minutes, and the table I reserved with a view wouldn’t be available. After the 20 minutes, we were told it would be still be a few more minutes. Two people walked in at 6:30 and I’m almost certain the manager or head chef told the hostess to move around tables so these people could be sat right away. Honestly this experience reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a car and they ran out of cars “The reservation keep the car here. You know how to take the reservation but don’t know how to hold it, which is the most important part of the reservation.”

The server was great. The food was great … but we (two people) made a reservation for 8:00, we got a table at 8:30. We watched a family of four come in after us and get seated before us. We were very close to leaving.

I am not kidding – you need to make the Treehouse your summer destination. We had the lobster spring roll, ahi tuna burger, Mediterranean halibut, pineapple margarita, & dirty Shirley and everything was absolutely delicious. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. And the atmosphere was pitch-perfect.

This is a fabulous restaurant – local Maine ingredients prepared with an international flair. The paella was among the best I’ve ever had. Andrew and Angelica have created something very special in Winter Harbor – I look forward to many wonderful meals here!
