They have great chicken livers, paired with the seasoned fries is a good meal. Because their portion sizes are so large I would recommend getting the half order of deep fried pickles for two people.

It was not very busy when we went, still took a few minutes to be seated. Once we were seated a few more minutes of waiting for our drink order to be taken. We ordered our drinks and food and had to wait 20 minutes for our food, during that time my son and I ran out of drink which didn’t get refilled until they brought our food and then they only refilled my drink. I got the Nashville hot fried 4 pc chicken dinner with mashed potatoes w brown gravy and an order of onion rings, my son had the double cheeseburger with fries. All the food was delicious the service was pretty much the only thing lacking, no sense of urgency or checking back.

Food was good although to be honest I felt like it was overpriced for the general atmosphere of this kind of place. $75 for 3 people. I got the creamy parmesan chicken which tasted good, it was just two small chicken breast pieces with a cream sauce on top. The sweet potato fries I picked as a side (which cost extra) were very tasty. Corn as a side was just very plain, no butter or seasoning of any kind. Crab cakes appetizer was good but could have been more crispy on the outside.

The place was welcoming and customers coming in as fast as they were going out. It was clean and our waitress was super nice and checked on us frequently. Their soup and salad bar was constantly worked it had a nice selection of fresh vegetables and toppings and their menu had a great selection of food to chose from. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was fresh hot and good. Great place for lunch or dinner

Oh boy tonight was not a good experience went to enjoy a nice dinner with my mom but service was terrible. I tried to speak to the manager Tosha about the issue but she was super dismissive and walked off half way thru me telling her what the issues were. Poor server attentiveness and poor management is going to put this place under.

We would give this little restaurant 10 stars if possible. We stopped in for lunch on our way to check out the campgrounds at Hardin Ridge… review to follow, and everything including the water was fantastic. We had the coconut chicken appetizer, the fried zucchini appetizer and the salad bar. Their chicken potato soup was out of this world great. The coconut chicken and fried zucchini were amazing. The salad bar had just enough of the right toppings to make a delicious salad.

Family atmosphere, the food was fantastic I recommend the countryside pork steak. It comes with country white gravy but you can request brown gravy instead. Alongside with mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad it’s one of my favorite meals.

Food was great and so was the service. I had the coconut battered tenderloin sandwich. Wanted the persimmon pudding but they were out:( “fishbowls” of beer were only $4. The interior was blank and uninviting. Would definitely recommend and will eat here again.

Nothing remarkable, but a good, solid diner with consistently good food and excellent service. As far as I know, they have the only soup/salad bar in town, and it’s pretty good. Their French fries are really good, and I’ve heard the fried chicken is outstanding.
