The service is phenomenal . We arrived at the “wrong time” it was packed…the host/waitress informed us, it would be a few minutes. Then left to the kitchen area. There she started getting plates together to help the kitchen A+++. We were seated shortly after, ordered our meals, and they came out pretty quick. Food was gr8. Will definitely be back when in the area.

American staples are your local diners and Dontee’s covered it all. Clean, charming atmosphere, great servers, and awesome food. I got the Southern Benedict had great flavor from the gravy eggs cooked to perfection and a nice warm Biscuit topped with a sausage patty.

I have been bringing friends and family here for years. Fresh and flavorful offerings on the menu, and a robust rotation of specials means I have never been disappointed. We arrive at 11:30 Saturday morning, to a perfect 8 minute wait. What? Cheers! What, might you ask, is better than classic breakfast and lunch selections at a great price? The service! THESE LADIES HUSTLE! The longest I’ve ever waited was about 20 minutes, but the time flies by as the owner regularly engages customers and proudly shows you the photo wall of her beautiful family. My server today was Cherry. She was friendly and attentive and in such a genuine manner ( I would wait for one of her tables in the future.) Big hugs! Our meals were cleanly plated and super appetising, The low, happy chatter in the dining room shows I am not the only person who is having a great breakfast and a good time. I leave, as always, full and happy. Experience is everything. Til next time, Dontee’s!

Come here about 3-5 times a month , never disappointing, the specials are great as is the regular menu, it’s good old fashioned diner with large portions, as you can see I had the chicken pot pie that’s well worth the few extra minutes wait than the normal menu items as it’s baked in the oven and comes out piping hot

The service and food were great. They were very busy but organized and efficient. This was my first time back after moving from the area. I used to frequent this restaurant often in the early 90s. It was as good as I remember.

Stop at Dontee’a dinner for breakfast on our way back to Orlando. There was no wait on Sunday morning. They had plenty of tables and bar area to eat. Hubby had the hamburger with swiss cheese and home fries, and I had the corn beef hash with hasbrowns and two eggs. Everything were good and very attentive waitress. We would come back here next time we are in the area.
